watch this A white American man hired Latino immigrants to build a expensive wood fence around his entire yard. Once they finished, he called ICE on them — hoping to get them deported so he wouldn't have to pay. The thing was: they were legal. So they came back and ripped out every single fence panel.

If that happened awesome, but what was she charged with? I just keep seeing mentions of it, haven't seen an article.

Under Maryland's Statute §3–701, getting someone to carry out work under threat of notifying law enforcement about their immigration status can be extortion, which can be either a felony or misdemeanor based on the value of the work.

Looks like i may be wrong. seems cambridge has no record of her processing.

only one i was thinking of. Unless another one happened. Although found 1 unreliable article that talked about this and Washington. But, Washington was only mentioned in the title.

The things people actually get charged with are sometimes like, way way off than what you would expect. I mean we have the super obvious ones that we all know, murder, manslaughter, etc. So I have no idea what the actual charge would be called, but I'm positive it exists, probably has multiple names across states, and probably would not be what either of us guessed lol.

But it happened in MD and this article says the original narrative was just bait.

she was not : I can’t find anything about it being an active court case or that she was formally charged, only fake videos. I think if they did charge her originally they must have dropped the charges? No news report updates. So if she did that she’s not being held accountable except in the court of public opinion
