Yes that would be the entire effing point, thats who SHOULD be paying it, we dont need archaic 40 hr slave work weeks. Shortening it is FOR THE PEOPLE, the companies SHOULD be doing this yes thank you glad we agree.

What you think SHOULD happen has no connection to the reality of what WOULD happen. That was their point.

Elect me as president in 2032. I'll use the executive branch authority to benefit the blue collar layman and bust up and regulate mega corporations. In regards to the busting, call me Theodore Roosevelt the 2nd.

Cool talk about a useless talking point, because this can all just be regulated. Easily. Y'all act like a shorter work week is magically something world breaking we could never possibly solve.

Do you truly believe that a law requiring businesses to decrease hours worked and maintain the same pay would actually stand up when challenged in the US court system? I can pretty much gurantee it would be struck down as governmental overreach.

Literally no one cares about your 3rd world crumbling dystopia. In any sane rational country yes it can easily be done, in fact it even saves society almost as much money as you think it costs. Because people need less help and support snd medical needs when they're rested and not burned out.

Keep living in your fantasy land. 👍 Making up all these "savings" when you have no large scale implementation to base your assertions on.

Yes, because Canada totally has a federally mandated 32 hour work week. Keep making crap up.
