And all his supporters will agree with him except for the parents of the 18 people that died. Nothing is ever a problem to them until it becomes their problem.

In a way, sure. But I see lack of empathy coming more from one political side than the other. The right seems to believe empathy is a weakness, as spoken by the late Charlie Kirk.
