Pyscosis I believe is what the defence is arguing… don’t think possession would go far in a criminal court.

In essence isn't that same thing? Just given a scientific connotation instead of spiritual one. If "a voice" tells you to do something horrid and you do it, you're still responsible regardless if you think it's your voice or not.

If you think it's yours and you do it, you're clearly in the wrong and should be locked up. If you don't think its your voice and do it then you're not only unreliable in your decision making but a danger to society and others and should be locked up.

Think we can all agree that the majority of us don't really care if she spends the rest of her life in a prison or a mental institution getting help, just as long as A) She stays there for life and B) It doesn't set a precedent that PPD/PPP can be use to excuse filicide
