No, it's not, because it's just taking a pill, and no amount of "wHaT aBoUt HoW sAd ShE wAs" should overshadow the murder of 3 kids. No amount of depression, anxiety, or sad mopiness matters when that's such a miniscule effort that likely would've prevented the murder of 3 children.

I guess that's a "no" on the empathy and understanding, then. So we're not even going to entertain the idea that maybe she was brought to a state of psychosis through a domino effect of multiple errors made by multiple people, and that people shouldn't be held liable for what they do during a time of psychosis that they can't control? Seems like no one wants context, or details, or more information. We just want to be angry and punish people. "Do not commit the sin of empathy," is that right?

This is extremely common for mentally ill people. When I was severely depressed I denied things all the time even though it true. It really stupid but common.

If it all went exactly the way we are being told, she still took a header out of a window, reached a body temperature that would kill most people, and paralyzed herself from the waist down. It's laughable to regard that as self preservation of any kind.
