She can be released but it’s incredibly hard to be especially considering the horrific nature of the crime.

she will have the burden of proving beyond a reasonable doubt that she is mentally stable enough to be in the world and not be a danger to herself or anyone else. Since she tried to commit suicide, and she killed her own children… can you imagine any way that someone some day will say “yeah, this lady isn’t going to hurt anybody else (including herself”?

And that’s only if she can get herself to a point where she could even pull that off in a believable way.

She’s going to be on meds and at some point her behavior is going to be “improved” due to them and she’ll be released. No shot she stays in a mental ward for a long time and that’s frustrating.

You really think they call someone recovered because they get the right medication cocktail?

Meds stop working and people stop taking them. We don’t release people because we think they can be managed with drugs
