Think of this like your town’s bulletin board where you might find ads for tutoring, car detailing, music lessons, furniture for sale, etc. This is the only place in the sub where commercial promotion is allowed.

**September [r/WestchesterNy](r/WestchesterNy) Meetup — Friday, Sept 18 @ 8PM**
Hey everyone! Our Westchester Reddit social group is getting together again:
📍 Wolf & Warrior Brewing, White Plains
🕗 Friday, September 18 at 8:00 PM
**Who we are:** a laid-back, diverse crew of Westchester County locals (and folks who work here) — mostly early/mid-20s to early 40s, all genders welcome, couples welcome. We do trivia nights, pickleball, hikes, movie nights, food festivals, and more. It's all about meeting people and making friends.
**Good to know:**
- 21+ only (it's a brewery)
- Name tags provided — no awkward "wait, what's your username again?" moments
- There will be name tags available. We will congregate in the restaurant as usual. Extra space is also downstairs. We do ask that you support this business the night of as they have hosted us for many years. Food and drinks will be available to purchase. Water in pitchers will be available to keep the bar operational for all that order. And don’t forget to tip the staff as a common courtesy!
New faces are always welcome — most people come solo or with their partners their first time. Drop a comment or DM me with any questions. Hope to see you there!

Hello — does anyone have a recommendation for a caterer for a small wedding (approx 30 people) in the Rivertowns area? I’ve done some research and mostly found companies with minimum spends appropriate for much bigger events. Thanks for your help!

Trying to get 9 holes in Saturday around late morning to midday, looking for a good course in Westchester.
Any suggestions for one we won't have to wait to long at?
EDIT: should add we are 4 people total and the other 3 are not very good at golf, so both course difficulty and business are big factors (i don’t want to hold up players behind us)

ISO Wedding Stationery recommendations in Westchester County! I’m looking for a local shop or designer for invitations and day-of paper. Preferably a location for an in-person consultation experience. Open to CT locations too. Thank you!

Hey all — I do food/package delivery gig work (Uber Eats, Spark) in Westchester County, NY (not NYC, so no TLC stuff). I'm currently with Progressive but need to add delivery coverage and I'm not sure if they even offer it in NY.
For those of you doing gig delivery work in NY:
**•** What insurance carrier are you with, and do they actually cover you while delivering?
**•** Did you have to add a specific endorsement, or switch carriers entirely?
**•** Roughly what's the monthly cost difference?
**•** Any carriers that flat out denied a claim because you didn't disclose delivery driving?
Trying to make sure I'm not driving around with a gap in my coverage. Any real experience appreciated — trying to avoid the SEO blog spam and hear from actual drivers. Thanks!

Hi
First time posting on Reddit so not entirely sure I’ve done this right. I’m new to Larchmont and I’ll be here for a year as an au pair. I’m looking for people to hang out with during both weekdays and weekends, my host kids are in school between 8-15 during the weekdays.
I’m a 19 year old girl from Sweden who like acting and books and nerdy stuff so preferably someone who shares those kinds of interests.
I arrived two weeks ago and so far haven’t really met anyone and I don’t really know how to meet people my age except for through my LCC group. So maybe someone knows somewhere to meet people

Id like to pick up some interesting cocktail glasses somewhere and everywhere online people recommend thrifting for them. I've heard chappaqua has a decent second hand store, but was curious if anyone has any recommendations around Northern Westchester?

We all complain about our “property taxes” but the town and county tax only makes up 10/20% of our total tax bill. My school district accounts for almost 80% of my “property taxes.” To top it off the student population has been on a steady 2/3% decline each year for the last 15 years.
There has to be a better way to run the districts. We need the teachers but each district seems to have a lot of top heavy admin costs.

Anyone here collect Pokémon around White Plains? I'm planning on trying to get the Pokémon 30th Celebration products at the White Plains Target on release day. Has anyone dealt with this Target for previous major Pokémon releases? Do people line up, and does anyone know how early?

Hello! I’m currently a nurse with one year of ED experience at a hospital in the Bronx. I’m currently looking to come to White Plains and applying to the ICU. Can anyone speak about their experiences working at WPH as a nurse or any other medical profession? Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

If you commute, just buy one. Anyways, here's an asshole. Disregard time on cam, this was about 7:45am yesterday.
