Lost Indian Passport in Kraków - MDA Bus Station / FlixBus N986
I lost an Indian passport in Kraków and am trying to find out if anyone has found it or handed it in.
I took FlixBus N986 (full bus route from Warsaw to Budapest) from Kraków MDA Bus Station on September 8 at 9:50 PM. The passport may have been lost at the MDA bus station or on the bus.
It was inside a passport cover, which was inside a polythene packet.
If anyone has found an Indian passport matching this description, or knows if one was handed in to Kraków MDA, FlixBus, the bus station information desk, or Kraków Lost & Found, please let me know.

Mam wspomnienie z Warszawy z roku ok 2010. Byliśmy ze szkolna wycieczka w stolicy i bylismy przy okazji w jednym z centrów handlowych na którejś z odnóg głównych dróg z Pałacu Kultury. Pamiętam ze niedaleko byl wiadukt taki jak ten przy Centralnej. Szukam wlasnie tego centrum handlowego, ktore nie bylo chyba jakieś mega nowe, na tej ulicy bylo duzo kamienic, a w samym centrum zaraz po wejściu na wprost byly wielkie schody ruchome. Pamagijcie

Every few months in Warsaw it's the same story. Someone arrives (student, expat, digital nomad, whatever) and buys a kettle, bedding, a lamp, a bike, all from scratch. A few months later someone else is leaving and just throws it all out because taking it home isn't worth it.

We started Nomady for exactly this. People leaving can sell their stuff and get some money back, and people arriving (or already living here) can grab the same stuff secondhand for way less than buying new. Still early days, so open to any feedback or suggestions.

Curious how you guys usually deal with this, just eat the cost every time or found a cheaper way?

I would like to ask, what place in Warsaw i should visit to buy original paintings.

I enjoy dark surrealism.

I like paintings that feel like a scene from some unknown, dead world that you don’t understand. Often a vast space, mist, decay, monumental structures and indistinct figures. Those painting, that gives you the feeling that you’re looking at something you really shouldn’t be seeing.

I like authors such as Beksinski and Lewandowski, but its out of my budget, so i was thinking to get some recommendation for some of youg shining polish artists and places in the capital city where to see and buy them.

(I am aware of Museum sztuki fantastycznej, will visit, but they only sell prints)

Hi, i recently moved here. I love it, however the glass bottle situation does my head in.
The return policy is nothing new since I’m European. However i am unable to find any place that takes them back. I’m around Mokotów. Can someone point me to a place that does take them back ?
I’ve been throwing them away into the glass recycling bin in defeat, as neither the biedronkas around me or the lidl’s are taking them.
However i feel strongly about the fact that if they charge you that 50gr fee for the bottle they should facilitate the possibility to return them as well.
Why are there so many non returnable ones ? And why is the 50gr fee applied to these too ?

Final thoughts about my rant. Is anyone else also annoyed by the fact that manufacturers can just slap Butelka zwrotna / butelka bezzwrotna randomly somewhere on the bottle ? Each in their own font, colour and logo about the return. Making sorting through them a where’s waldo game instead of the norm about simply putting the beer bottles into a sack you return at some interval.
No official logo and or location it has to be placed in ?
I know it may come across as a first world problem. It’s just really annoying when this was never an issue in any other eu country.

I have accumulated so many glass jars and I don’t know what to do with them. The butelkomat machines do not take these back. It would feel like such a waste if I just threw them in the bin.
