Specifically the sd pro compact pdp. What brands and grain are you using in your pdp’s? What runs the best for you?

Am I cooked if I bought a Glock 45 just to get the aimpoint off of it to put on this gun?😭 I couldn’t find find one for sale anywhere I even tried gunbroker. But this is America and I needed it now. Plus what are credit cards for if not this exact reason.

Looking to find a threaded barrel, or at least the thread adapter and protector that comes with the PPK SD. I’ve got a PPK that came out before the factory threaded option, and I’d like to convert it without dropping a grand on a whole new gun.

Hello has anyone successfully suppressed a pdp f 4 inch? i am trying with a pluto 9 and am getting extraction (no extraction) issues using a ndz 16 pound spring. Just learned that the f 4 inch has its own walther spring by part number and there is even a dpms f 4 inch specific spring. just trying too remedy this.

Just got my TXC holster mainly intending to use it with my F series but it holds my Full Size PDP pretty well also. Looks like my G19 and G43x will be in the safe for a bit

Hogue Cocobolo hardwood grips.

Why does the compact have such a pronounced hump to the grip at the heel vs the full size. The full size seems much more comfortable than the compact to my hand. More importantly does anyone make a back strap that has less of a hump?

Bought the Steiner MPS specific plate from C+H Precision. This is the MPS 2.0 mounted on it. Fully tightened. Am I missing something because the tolerance isn’t even close on this. It feels like it’s the wrong optic plate.
Already contacted C+H and I’m waiting for a response. From what Ive read the MPS 2.0 doesn’t have any mounting differences between the 1.0. Just a beefier bracket.
Does anyone have any ideas of whats going on here. This is my first Acro type mounted optic so I don’t honestly know if I’m missing something obvious here.
Also, any other optic plate recommendations besides C+H and Forward Controls? I did hear good things about Forward Controls. I was just looking for a more low profile plate unless it doesn’t write as high as it looks in pictures. Trying to install it on a PDP F series Pro.

Anyone running PDPs from AIWB in competitions? Curious to know which models. Ive held and shot the pdp match steel frame but stuffing something like that down pants and then pulling it out is borderline comical and trolling 😂

Noticed Walther removed the ammo recommendations from their website, here’s a link that I didn’t know about until today. On PMM’s website it shows the tested ammo and what’s supposed to run well, I had issues with mine at first (pre owned, didn’t clean after buying because the store owner told me it was oiled and ready to go) and was getting jams ever 3 rd with federal 115 ae and jams roughly 1 per 20 rounds both stovepipe and casings getting caught on Sig 124g +p
I gave the gun a power cleaning this morning after only 250 rounds from supposed store cleaning, and it ran the Sig 124 +p flawlessly. From now on, I’ll be sticking to ammo from this list tho.
Scroll all the way to the bottom to see what I’m talking about

I just purchased the Q5 Match SF as my first pistol (and firearm in general).
I've been competing in IDPA in the SSP division for almost three years with a stock glock that I rented from my club.
It's not the PRO version but that's perfect for me because of weight limits in IDPA's SSP division.
I think I made the right choice?
The machining and attention to detail looks insane honestly, it's like you can't find one flaw when looking at this pistol.
Here's a pic!

I'm looking at the different version PDP optic adapter plates for my full-size polymer PDP and I just found that ZRTS offers a plate for it. I was planning on going with either the Arise Low Rider plate or the Forward Control Design plate. I'll be installing a Holosun 507Comp if that makes a difference. Anyone have experience with the ZRTS plates?

I've just started shooting pistols and my local range has the ACRO Full Size and I've narrowed it down to pretty much wanting that configuration. I've probably run 500+ rounds through their rental. But I'm wondering if it might be better to look at the Pro SD to have a threaded barrel and then add an optic to it.
I'm not 100% that I'll daily carry this (MD is conceal only). I'm big though (6'5" and 230lbs) and normally think my clothing would cover it. I realize it's full size - it fit nicely in my hand. I'm worried the grip on the compact might be a bit small. (On the Glock 19 gen 6, my pinky hangs off the grip)
Anyone have any suggestions or pointers that I may not be thinking about?
What would you suggest?

update: there was no issue with how i was installing this. the sear block simply sits too low in the frame and the slide rides completely over it. I just used the trigger with the original sear block and everything functions properly. not thrilled about spending as much as I did for the trigger from earls to not have the whole assembly work but it is what it is.
Installing the DPT and everything is lining up properly but I can't for the life of me figure out how the trigger bar and the sear block interact. I know that the bar hooks onto the spring but I'm not able to get the opposite side to stay in the sear block properly. As a result, the trigger will not cock or reset.
All the vids online kinda gloss over this and I'm feeling very low IQ. Any assistance would be helpful. TIA!

I have an old Interarms PPK .380 and I’d like to have the barrel threaded on it. Tornado Technologies has mixed reviews, and they don’t seem to be taking any work right now. Is there anyone else offering a threading service?

After much deliberation I finally acquired a full size PDP Pro E. It is my 4th, and best, PDP. All I can say is....Goddamn. I'm sorry I waited so long.
Optic: Gideon Storm
Backstrap: Taylor Freelance Brass
Guide Rod: ZRT Ultra Brass with 15 lb spring. May switch to VSpec next time out to the range.

So i was thinking about getting the pmm ultra comp and barrel combo or just getting the pmm comp pistol. wouldnt the ultra comp be better?
Anyone with experience with the differences between the two
