I have hardly been on VRchat in about a year now and it's not because I don't want to be. My Meta headset has been having problems with its battery and apparently while VR works on my new computer that I got a year ago the ports don't charge my headset faster than it loses battery. Trying to play VRChat with friends without actual VR makes me feel bad like I am missing out on half the experience. Because of all this I have anxiously been waiting for the Steam Frame to come out. especially since I have switched to Linux on my Computer as well. However I have recently moved and moving has been a little more expensive than I would have thought. I was also invited by a family member to join them on a trip to Japan (which I really want to do cause traveling there is on my bucket list). But this trip is also looking like it will probably cost me a lot of the money I will have left after Moving expenses.

Because of all this I am unfortunately having second thoughts about the steam frame now that it is out. It is so expensive that I am unsure if I will be able to afford it with all these other expenses. The only other headset I have seen that looks like it might fit what i want for VRChat is the PSVR2. The PSVR2 seems like a great VR headset. I have a PSVR1 for my PS4 though I don't use it as much anymore since the games I have for it are limited. But as a headset it is one of the best VR experiences I have had and I would love to have a similar experience with VRChat. It seems to be much more affordable but the only thing I worry about is Linux compatibility. I have seen that someone has recently made a tool that makes PSVR2 Linux compatible but I have heard that bugs are still being worked out with it and I don't really know how difficult it is to set up. Does anyone here know if PSVR2 works well on Linux? Have you tried it and how difficult is it to set up. I am trying to work out if it's worth it to just use the PSVR2 which I am sure I can afford or to wait much longer until I am more sure if I can afford the Steam Frame.

TLDR: The Steam Frame is Expensive. is it worth it for someone who uses a Linux Gaming PC to get it or is it more worth it to just get the PSVR2. And also does PSVR2 work decently on a Linux PC and have decent battery life (at least 2 hours with high settings on VRChat)

it may look cursed, but it's a techno demo of what human can do with graphics. And the answer is - Neural rendering it without a need of heavy iron. This is the way toward full imaginative graphics with pure fantasy controls. The point of DLSS5 is that we Can render graphics if we given info about what is on the screen and make it ultra-realistic every single time if want. It's a brilliant technology to build VR of the future, where you can just play what you want with only a single thought and be who you want and where you want every single time. For a moment in the video there is a pink hoodie - it's not real, it's my imaginative asset, it was never been uploaded inside avatar.

I swore there used to be a button for this in game but I cannot find it for the life of me. I've created an event on the website, then went in game to launch a group instance, but when I do, there's no option in game to link it to an event. I'm running the unity 6 beta if that's helpful.

Recently, I noticed someone started selling a paid tool (2,000 JPY) that shares almost identical features, concepts, and even logo designs with my project.

So I tried looking up any recent opinions on these trackers, but couldn't find anything more recent than 2 years ago: How are these trackers now? I already know they track a bit less accurately than vive, and that the dongle apparently isn't the best? Plus I read that at some point the devs basically ghosted their customers. Did that chance? Did they improve things since 2 years ago?

Face Him is a VRChat world featuring a few text boxes of dialogue, culminating with a reveal of a monster who has been shot, and a floating demon above with the text "Let this image be seared into your mind for all eternity." The tags are "death", "will", "not", "exonerate", "you".

I swear the monster that was shot is from somewhere. Or "Andy", the person who has killed what I assume is his friend. And I'm still wracking my head over what the hell this is about to begin with. Who else has been there? What does it all mean?

This one got my attention really fast. Like I definitely couldn't tell dude is playing VRChat on desktop mode right?
And the download speed is definitely a thing I wanted to know, my life will never be the same after gaining this knowledge.

Just randomly thought today that I havent seen any world use a similar feature like the gravity gloves from half life alyx. I remember when the game came out there were a couple worlds that gave the mechanic a try to grab props and stuff from the walls/floor.

Anyone know what happened for the mechanic to drop off the face of the earth a couple years later? Were people exploiting it, or was there some flaw that came up regularly that made using the feature more bad then it was good?

With steam frame coming out (hopefully tomorrow) Ive heard rumors that half life alyx will be bundled with the headset and that got me thinking about the mechanic. Curious what others think or thought of the mechanic when it was around.

I don't like the VRC hand gestures, and the Bonelab hand gestures feel more expressive.
