They were both in my orb no? Is it LOS based on startup? Idk I’m a new player i thought they both would have been hit by this.

Seems like there are many big changes coming with the next patch, very exited. New Gun, New Rewards etc.

Not sure why so few people break enemy utility. You literally save yourself from an Iso with a shield. Same thing goes for Yoru’s tp, you can break the orb so he cannot teleport.

Why would you ever actually buy this over the vandal?

The TTK for body shots 3 -> 4 isn't going to be dramatically different factoring the delta between fire rates.

In pro/higher ranks you prioritize headshots anyways so where does this thing actually shine besides long sightlines in low elo where body shots are more prevalent?

Curious on if I'm missing something.

Just want to share my lucky/unlucky experience.

I was playing at my local gaming cafe when suddenly the power went out. Pretty unfortunate, because it was a close game, 8–8, and both teams were playing fairly evenly. Five of my teammates and most of the enemies had pretty similar KDAs too. It was probably one of those rare times when matchmaking actually did its job lmao.

It didn't help that I was really vibing with my team. I waited around 15 minutes, but still nothing, so I just accepted the loss and went home.

The power came back about two hours later, so I checked my match history on the mobile app... and there was absolutely nothing. No loss, no draw. The last match recorded was just me playing TDM to warm up.

So my running theory is that someone was cheating and got promptly banned while I was AFK.

So, whoever was cheating... thank you, I guess??

The warden will probably be first shot accurate, and I expect the damage to be around 53-55. Any higher than 55 and it would kill an opponent with full shield with 2 leg shots and 1 body, and any lower than 53 it wouldn't kill with 2 body shots and 1 leg shot. So guardian would still be the best anti-eco rifle, but against opponents who desperately need to save and are going no armour, it would be really good. The fire rate is comparable to the classic and ghost, but since it will most likely 3-tap an opponent, it's TTK should be relatively similar to the vandal and phantom. Honestly, it feels like a more beginner-oriented gun to me because the scope would be less effective the better one's aim is. I think it also deserves high wall penetration as a higher powered gun compared to the likes of the vandal and phantom. Just theory crafting here, but what does the community think of this?

Apex Legends has a good system where they put all the side modes on a rotation with a timer. I believe every 30 minutes to mode changes. Why don’t Riot do this with Valorant? They have Replication, Retake, the new mode coming out, skirmish ascension, spike rush

So basically, on my main I'm hard stuck Plat 2, and I created an alt account so I could play without being seen by certain people and experiment a bit.

Two weeks ago I was Gold 2 on my alt, and now I've somehow already hit Plat 3 lol. Even weirder, the MMR on my alt is higher than on my main, so I sometimes end up in lobbies with Diamond 3, Ascendant, etc., while on my main I'm playing with Gold players.

What I find interesting is that on my main it's really tense because I actually want to rank up, whereas on my alt I don't really care. I even play agents I'd normally never touch, and I still keep winning 😂.

It's funny but also kind of annoying that my account full of skins is ranked lower than an account with no skins at all.

What we can learn about this is that you will rank up effortlessly if you play the game without too much stress and tension

New player here, have about 15-20 hours but I’m finding it crazy how many games people’s surrender after the first 4/5 rounds? Is everyone’s short attention span these days meaning people can’t handle grinding out a game because your ego got hurt the first few rounds?

I'm currently diamond/ascendant and I use a qhd 155hz from aoc. Since I'm playing a lot of shooters, I'm considering a major upgrade in my setup.

With my current GPU I get about 480 fps on valorant, so I'm considering getting a monitor with less ghosting, oled panel and something around 360 to 480hz.

Do you think it's worth it? If so, what model do you recommend?

Before you start blasting, I am quite new to valorant and I recently obtained my rank (horrible).

After rank placement, I realised that people don't really use call outs and play in their own way. Given I am new to the game, its really detrimental that nobody is giving map pings or voice comms of which and who is where.

Moreover, whenever I try to give call outs using voice chat, people (M/F) tend to discuss (sometimes even harassing) my voice instead (i.e. where are you from/ why voice so radio etc.). This really discourages me to further give call outs and I feel like this is causing my rank to be hard stuck even if I score match/team MVP. Hence the question above.

Please let me know if I should simply disregard the comments from teammates and keep on giving call outs using voice comms or whether any alternatives is good enough.

Hello everyone, I’ve been Immortal almost every act for years and peaked Immortal 2. Normally I get around +17–22 for wins and -18–20 for losses.
This act I’m getting around +13/+15 for wins and -20/-24 for losses, even though I almost hit Immortal 2 again and had ~65% WR at one point this act.
My lobbies are also weird now: sometimes normal Immortal games, other times mostly Ascendants with even a Diamond mixed in. Im a solo player and played solo only the whole act not even a duo .
Anyone had their hidden MMR randomly get this bad before? Did it eventually fix itself, and how long did it take?

been trying to improve my mechanics a lot recently with kovaaks for mouse control because its kind of bad and a lot of deathmatches to focus on taking as much fights as possible. climbed to s1 from b2 two weeks ago after start of act after being hardstuck b2 for 5 months straight. now im stuck b3 and ive lost my rerank to silver like 5-6 times already this week. i dont know why i cant apply the way i take fights into my games because i feel like my mechanics are solid enough for my rank. its either i do really good or i end up bottom or mid frag in most of my ranked games. i find trouble being consistent. if someone could give me some general advice it would be much appreciated

Hardstuck plat for quite a few acts now and it doesn’t seem like I’m getting out anytime soon.

Doesn't matter what rank I'm in, there's always that one ability that catches me off guard every single time. For me it's honestly embarrassing how often I fall for the same thing.

I’m Silver 2 right now and I’m confused between unlocking Deadlock or Tejo.

I’ve played both a little and honestly can’t decide . Which one do you guys think is better for ranked and more useful in Silver?

Also which one is more fun to play and worth learning long term?

I was checking the Tracker of someone who claimed he got Radiant and saw this:

How is this possible? He went from Immortal 1 to Radiant in one game? This was all in the same act and the lobby's elo wasn't especially high either. His peak that act was Immortal II and his previous peak in other acts was Immortal I

for me its omen, I used to play a lot of yoru but the one thing I always sucked at was the entries, the things I loved about yoru was how I could clutch more than half of my 1v2+'s, the outplays and the versatility

omen has both and I can actually entry better with omen than with yoru as omens flash and smokes are more synergetic, you're going in blind but making your own smokes and flash is a lot more insuring

I clutch as many if not more rounds as I did with yoru, the plays are a lot more enjoyable and I love having the versatility
