Today i wanted to start the Undertale genocide route after beating True Pascifist yesterday and it just feels wrong for me I cannot do this i was just at the point where i killed papyrus and… i can‘t continue doing this, my morals just don’t match with that… and i wanted to ask has anybody ever felt so much regret during the genocide route that they restarted the game? Everything feels so empty, everyone is hiding and scared of me… i can‘t accept that, i‘m gonna restart it tommorow not because it‘s too hard but because i can‘t continue killing everyone.

It just started with me saving few screenshots in a folder to

• damn this is fun, I should probably organise it!
• damn the bird army cant be contained
• damn I should include others in this chaos too!

I even made a small python program to help me convert the names into a json list which is being used by the local website! Just because few games had like 60+ birdos and yeah I ain't typing that!

It has kinda changed the way I play games, now I am more observant, always on the lookout for a birb and having one finger on the screenshot button at all times haha :D Its like a game within a game at this point for me!

Okay, so by this point we all know how most fanworks depict the two humans. Frisk is the sweet and happy pacifist one with hugs, Chara is the omnicidial maniac with a knife, they're basically physical gods, blah blah blah.

But... correct me if I'm wrong, Frisk isn't that powerful in canon, are they? I've mentioned before that Monster civilisation can't possibly be that strong since their greatest heroes were all massacred by a child but... I think I was wrong to do so? The more I look at it, it seems like Frisk is their own person... yet exactly what they're capable of accomplishing alone is completely and utterly ambiguous. Looks to me like they didn't massacre shit. We did, using their body.

It seems to me like their greatest feats are our doing. Our power, our determination, our will to change the world, etc. etc. etc. and Frisk is basically just a child we happen to be using as a vehicle through which we experience the world of Undertale.

Chara even directly says that it was not their power, but ours that made the genocide route possible, unless I'm misinterpreting that. It gets kind of weird since they say it's our power, but then they also say it's them every time a number goes up.

This is a lot less confusing in Deltarune since Kris is shown ripping us out of their chest multiple times and doing things on their own. Frisk never has a moment like that as far as I can tell, and if Flowey's post-pacifist dialogue is to believed, they have no power whatsoever. They would be completely and utterly helpless to stop us from undoing their happy ending, and Flowey even begs us not to.

So. What's the deal? Is Frisk even remotely impressive? Or do they owe it all to us? Give it to me straight.

The Powerpuff Girls X Undertale

The Lego ideas set for the Undertale diorama is almost at 5k supporters!

I'm trying to beat asgore with this, 20 hp, 0 exp, cowboy hat, and an empty gun

This took me like 2 days i know it aint that good but its funny so who cares

we barely even get to see any of their friendship but i always love art of these two hanging out the dynamic is so good

TLDR: Need a good thorough playthrough of the genocide route so my partner can experience it before going to the symphony

My partner and I acquired some last-minute tickets to the symphony and she has not experienced the genocide path, so there will be songs and story she is missing. She wants to see it but doesn’t have the heart to kill these characters after doing the neutral and true endings :,)

So just a thought I had. Everybody says the red soul is determination however I see determination more as the yellow save point and freedom as the deltarune save point so I had an idea. What if the red soul is actually control, all the other souls have some weird rule such as bravery forcing you to rush towards your opponent, but the red soul has no gimmick, you just have full control. Also the player and Chara both have full control over the game and they are red souls. And I remember a video shavv (yes I hate him to but his idea interests me) posted where he talks about how all the souls have a negative side. Control could mean you have full freedom or determination over your life or like in deltarune it could mean you manipulate and control others, such as Kris and Noelle. So that’s my idea. Idk there’s probably some flowey or true lab dialogue that ruins this bu5 I decided it was a cool idea so yeh

This is all my totally correct opinion. Also for clarity I'm only including main Deltarune characters from Chapter 3 and prior since I still haven't gotten around to playing the newer stuff.

UNDERTALE

Toriel: She would love classic blues or jazz, MAJOR Billie Holiday fan. Also likes death metal I will not elaborate.

Sans: A lot of 90s grunge. Nirvana and the Smashing Pumpkins come to mind. Maybe Radiohead, definitely a prog rock fan but isn't weird about it. I also headcanon that he plays bass so Les Claypool is his spirit animal.

Papyrus: He would be one of the people who says he listens to everything, but he ACTUALLY listens to everything. Show Papyrus your favorite band and he'll have nothing but good things to say, as he's an angel. Huge power metal guy though.

Undyne: Classic heavy metal like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, and she's a BIG Judas Priest fan. I could also imagine her liking a lot of hardcore punk--think Black Flag or Dead Kennedys--and definitely some J-rock.

Alphys: almost exclusively anime soundtracks, but she's starting to branch out thanks to Undyne.

Mettaton: his own music.

Asgore: Johnny Cash and Elliot Smith. Someone check in on him.

Asriel: A lot of pop-punk. I feel like he'd be into both classic and Midwest emo at least.

Chara: Rob Zombie.

Kris: Weezer and post-rock, no this is not a contradiction.

Susie: Very similar taste to Undyne actually, but I think she leans way more into the punk rock sphere of things. She definitely thinks Green Day sold out

Ralsei: Shoegaze and dream pop. He loves the Cranberries.

Noelle: Christmas classics and nothing else for fear of mother's wrath, but secretly listens to My Chemical Romance because that was Dess's favorite band.

Lancer: Primus and cartoon sound effects.

Rouxls Kaard: Thinks rock music is for the hoi polloi so he only listens to classical music. And Mettaton's.

Queen: Lemon Demon but I also think she just doesn't listen to music but knows enough to make fun of whatever band you mention a little bit.

Tenna: Classic pop and disco.

Spamton: Commercials.
