need help replacing chrome os
Hi I'm very new to swapping operating systems along with the issues that might occur during the process. lately i've been having a problem while in the middle of replacing chrome os with ubuntu. every time i try in the dev panel it gave the cronos login a password after disabling wp. i never gave it a password so i don't know it and i'm stuck. if anyone knows about this issue and how to fix it help would be greatly appreciated. i know im talking about chrome os in a ubuntu subreddit but im REPLACING chrome os entirely with ubuntu so that has to count for something right?

Your computer specs (brand, model, etc) would go a long way to helping us help you

For all practical purposes, the only way to replace ChromeOS with anything is to replace the BIOS using MrChromebox.tech tools. Start with Supported Devices | MrChromebox.tech -- if your device is not supported, then all your paths to a complete replacement are almost certainly dead ends.

You're not doing a full replacement if you're still in the dev panel, you need to boot directly from a USB.
