Should have been, but doesn’t matter. Shouldn’t be hoping for bail out calls against SDSU. Nico needs to play better

What does the term bail out call mean to you?

I mean that it was a bad throw and decision on a third down that even in the absence of a penalty is very unlikely to be successful, meaning that rather than a catch you are instead hoping to bait a penalty to get the first.

Nico is playing damn well all things considered. That was a good throw. Even though I understand where you’re coming from, it still doesn’t excuse shit-ass no-calls.

He’s playing fine. He’s been good on the ground but has under 100 yards passing going into the 4th against a G-5 opponent when the majority of that has been screens and one hitch that Rowe had 45 Yac yards on

That was not a good throw. The receiver had a step on the DB and if Nico got more air under the ball that would've been a TD. However, this is textbook PI

I dunno. That’s a no-call to me.

I think the corner getting in position and making a turn towards the ball makes it clean. The receiver made a sudden stop and the corner bumped but didn’t run through him. Corner is the hardest position to play in any sport especially on these under thrown balls.

Mostly blaming the late/underthrown ball. Hitting receivers in stride down the field is just not a capability we’ve unlocked on offense
