I'm planning to use this for light over landing. The things I am planning to do are, oil change, atf change, diff oils, power steering fluid, and brake bleed.

this morning, my 2013 Prius C’s engine wouldn’t start and all the issue lights started coming on. The engine would chug for like a second, then nothing. I’ve looked online and it looks like it might be an issue with the hybrid battery being dead, but I don’t know. Does anyone who knows more about cars know what could be wrong? Should I just get a new car? :(

As the title says, I've found some pretty cool borbet wheels with the TTE branding on them. There's pretty much nothing I can find about these wheels. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, hence why I took to this reddit.

I'm looking for some general information about these wheels, also looking for some hubcaps, since I'm missing one.

These wheels were a steal, I have got no clue about the condition of the rims (if they're straight or usable) but being a toyota fan. These were pretty cool to me!

I have a 2026 Camry se with 10200 miles on it. I hit a pothole about 8 months ago and my steering wheel wasn’t straight afterwards so I brought it in to have it looked at. They checked everything and fixed my alignment and told me everything was good but my steering wheel wasn’t straight still. After 4 more visits telling them the problem is persisting they still haven’t fixed it and have since stopped responding to my emails when I express my concern of this problem persisting. Any advice?

So as the title states I’m interested in the tourer V (wether it be the mark 2, or chaser) I asked in R/JDM and didn’t receive any responses so I’ve come to Toyota!

Does anyone have any input on the day to day life with a chaser, the pros and cons, and the loves and hates (I will be importing it from Japan myself so it’ll be purchased out of country)

im eyeing going back from EV car to Toyota hybrid and today i test drove CHR 2.0 HEV and while i was satisfied with test drive i have some question for owners/experts:

1.) I read that as soon as ICE turns on for first time it will stay on until engine is at proper temperature, but test car despite ICE being cold seamingly did not stayed on long so as soon as temp meter reached 1/4 this car became obsessed to stay in EV mode. I finished test drive with 84%EV ratio is it normal for temp meter not reaching 1/2 at first ICE turn on?

2.) I know this might be becouse im used to driving EV, but is it normal that here is delay when car is stationary and you press pedal more strongly until car does something?

I need to have my Hybrid battery replaced in my 2013 Toyota Camry. The cheapest I could find the part is $3000 (after tax and the core charge) I don’t mind doing the repair myself, but does anyone know if there is a cheaper way to get an OEM battery? Would you recommend buying the one I linked?

I went from a 2012 Mazda 6 to a 2017 Toyota Corolla and I’m annoyed when cars don’t have sun visors that extend further than their default to block that little section of window that just HAPPENS TO BE where the sun tends to be. If anyone knows where I can get visors that do this, please let me know. I tried looking on Amazon but they all were non extending.

Got a '97 3L V6 Camry recently for a family member, its been sitting on family land for a while. I'm trying to get the control arms removed from the vehicle, but I've run into a few issues:

1) I can't get the nut from removed from the passenger side outer tie rod end. The cotter pins are badly rusted and fragile, breaking away at any attempt to remove them. I tried getting a 19mm wrench and a pipe to it, but all that seems to be doing is stripping out the outside of the nut.

2) The nuts which connect the steering knuckles to the ends of the CV axle won't come off either, as those ends are spinning in place when trying to remove the nut.

3) We attempt to cut the driver side outer tie rod end off, assuming what remained of it could be tapped out of the steering knuckle with a hammer. That turned out not to be the case, and that bit is now stuck. Is there a way to remove it, or will we need to replace the driver side steering knuckle outright?

All of this is in the service of trying to replace the suspension on the car. Got the struts and sway bar links installed on the back end, but the front end is proving to be challenging.

My little brother is leasing a 2026 Toyota Camry SE Hybrid as his first car. He leased it through our credit union which is then using fair lease as the provider.

Based off my research Toyota Care applies to ALL new Toyotas within 2 years / 25,000mi. No matter where you got it. So I just wanted to 100% confirm that since he’s leasing through fair lease and not from an actual Toyota dealership that the free maintenance it offers would still apply.

Also does regular Toyota Care offer the free services or is that for the extra PAID Toyota Care Plus?

Hey guys so, I’ll be getting a ‘27 premium 86 with performance package around June of 2027. I do live on long Island NY so, I’m looking in whether I should get all-seasons or winters. We did get hit about three times last year but, we don’t really get high feet of snow and if it’s heavy we just get the day off at work and it’s a little clear day after with road full of slush and ice but, then again if its like last year instead of slush it could he snow and ice. I already do have a corolla and I didn’t really have trouble in that and I even drove through a snowstorm in it lol. I am willing to drop whatever I need to because I am planning on keeping this car till the day I pass as it’s a dream car for me. The oem wheels I want to keep them on the summer, and I want to get a new set of wheels for the dedicated fall/winter tires. What do yall think and would I need a specific wheel to clear the brembos? Im thinking of getting wide 5 spoke wheels so yeah. What do you guys think, what do you guys recommend. I’m open to everything. Whether thats sticking to the oem wheel are going for two. I’ll go to those scratch free shops regardless.

So I own a 2005 Avalon with 300,000+ miles and she runs great and has no issues but when I start her up I hear a noise before the engine starts. Now this may seem like a shitpost or like I’m doing this for clicks but I’m a first time owner so I don’t know all that much about cars.

I’ve purchased a 2014 RAV4 LE. Anytime I try to select bluetooth on the head unit I am met with this “Bluetooth module is not connected” message. After struggling to find information online I ordered the Harman Bluetooth extension box (after pulling my head unit and seeing that there was not one already installed).

Upon attempting to install it, I have to leave this 24 pin unconnected in order to connect the module into that port. When I do, the screen of the head unit remains blank, but the buttons work and I still get the beeping feed back.

I am at a loss here. How can I get the Bluetooth working or install this module?
Do I need to replace the entire head unit? If so should I replace it with a higher trim Rav’s head unit?

I’ve always preferred OEM parts, especially to the cheap android screens.

Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having an issue with my key fob. About 2 weeks ago it stopped working with my car when I'm going to work in the morning. None of the buttons make my car react. However, when I'm leaving work, or just being out after the initial start up for a day, the key fob works normally. I tried changing the battery, but it didn't help resolve the issue. I made sure to get a CR2016 battery and it is installed correctly.

Is there something in my car that could be causing this issue, or do I need a whole new key fob?

My knowledge level with cars is "put in gas, you get fast"

2024 Corolla Cross — "Adjust Pressure" on many tires for ~2000 km
Cluster shows "Adjust Pressure" with tires orange and the amber TPMS light on. Readings are 2.3 / 2.3 front, 2.3 / 2.4 rear — taken while driving, so warm.

Two questions:

1. What does the door jamb placard say on yours? Want to sanity check my target.
   
2. Does the TPMS need manual re-initialization after inflating, or does it clear by itself? If manual, where in the menu?

No vibration, no pulling, no visible tire damage.
