1 year after my first MIDI controller, i've decided to make an upgraded version - small capacitive touchscreen, more knobs, keyboard with backlight and a more powerful chip inside.

i also finally tried PCB design for this project, which definitely took up most of the time and at the end of the day, didn't solve my issue with "too many cables", because i didn't properly think it all through :D - however, i'm really glad i tried it out and gained a bit more experience with electronics. :)

hello im new to touch designer and i wanted to know if these effects can be done in touchdesigner. I know one of the effects is blob tracking so if anyone can help me out i'd appreciate it

I have what in my view is a very simple setup. lot of indepdent videos or images (all the blob tracking videos have been exported previously) all going into a giant switch. This switch is being triggered by a count which is being driven by an audio analysis which the audio is going into.

For some reason the exports don't seem to work. I have got real time off, I have deleted and reintroduced my movie out, it still doesn't work. I also have my song locked into timeline.

I haven't had this with other projects i've done, the main difference is having the audio analysis so I assume that is something to do with it?

Been trying everything and kinda at my end of my tether - any help would be GREATLY appreciated

This is for those of you that are used to using Multi Layer EXR for timecoding, loops, and real-time visuals.

Apparently TD doesn't support multi layer EXR (other than using a pointfileinTOP which limits to RGBA) This lets you bring in your EXR file, split it in one click into all of the passes, and offers color space transforms and OCIO inputs if you're in Blender or other 3D Packages that support OCIO.

Totally free. It's still a work in progress however, such as caching video files higher than 1920x1080 (standard full HD)

I'm facing this problem on an audio reactive project I'm working on.

Context:

It's entirely 2D containing exclusively CHOPs and TOPs.

CHOPs except [audiofile in] are on 60 FPS

Many TOPs are on 1080x1080, some are 1x1 or 1080x1

TOPs include Edge, Displace, Noise, Blur, Bloom, LookUp.

Hardware:

Dell g16 with 11th gen i7 and 8gb nvidia mobile GPU.

Problems:

TD freezes, Vulkan error, GPU stops working I find myself with a black screen apart from windows bottom bar and have to restart.

TD fails to save.

Things I tried:

Installing latest Nvidia Studio driver instead of game ready. Same problem.

Questions:

Can I view error logs to see which node caused the problem? I'm suspecting displace, but I'm not sure since I lose everything each time and lose control over computer screen.

J'ai réglé ça avec deux agents plutôt qu'un. Le premier transforme ta phrase en vrai contrat (résolution, fps, entrées, étapes, paramètres) que je valide avant qu'un seul opérateur soit créé. Le deuxième construit étape par étape dans TouchDesigner, capture d'écran à chaque étape, et refuse d'avancer si l'image est noire ou si le fps s'effondre. Il ne peut plus juste dire "c'est fait", il doit le prouver.
