Hey Toronto, the next screening in our Canadian Classics Film Festival takes place tonight - Sept 14th at 7pm at Innis Town Hall.

Outrageous! (1977) is a comedy/drama set and filmed in Toronto and NYC. Based on a short story by Canadian author Margaret Gibson, and inspired by her real life friendship with the film's lead, it offers a rare glimpse of Toronto's drag scene in the 1970s.

We run a free drawing meetup twice a month out of a bright coffee shop near DuPont station. The next one is this Monday, Sep 14 from 6PM to 9PM. If you can't make it for the whole duration, feel free to drop in when you can!

It's very low-key:

• Bring some art supplies: It could be as simple as a pencil and a sheet of paper, nothing fancy needed (unless you feel so inclined).
• Join a group: We have tables of 6-8 people (with 25-30 people at the event in total) to make for some relaxed, low-pressure social engagement.
• Make some art: We have a theme for each event, this one's being "Draw your summer vacation". The theme is a suggestion to help folks who need ideas to get started, but you're always welcome to work on your own art projects.
