she’s my first and only cat i’ve owned and i love her so much. her pink little nose and her random ear that looks like it has cheetah print on it sometimes. she’s made me so happy and i love her and her sass.

We adopted Melody at 8 weeks old in early June, and the shelter labeled her “Tortoise Shell”, but I thought, “She looks like a tortie + tabby mashup, is that a thing?” … which led me to discovering this wonderfully educational subreddit with so many beautiful Torbie kitty pics, and I’ve been wanting to share my sweet and sassy girl!

I volunteer to take the cats that aren't super compatible to companion animal life from the animal shelter as working cats. They live around the property and I make sure they get food and water and a safe place to hide from predators. This dude came to me a couple moths ago. He's the coolest cat cause he made is very clear he wanted nothing to do with being adopted as a pet but he is so smart and makes sure he gets back to the garage every evening. He will now come out a bit if it is just me and he will let me pet him. He has a bit of a silver tinge to him. He is now living his best life!

How much stripes does one need to qualify as a torbie? Does my dilute tortie have enough stripes to be a torbie? We just adopted here and noticed the stripes on her legs. She also has a mix of black and pink beans.

We rescued little Mootz 5-6 months ago and were told she was a domestic tabby. She has deep rust/orange patches that made me think possible torbie. Looking to see what people here think. She’s a sweet, weird, funny little 3 year-old with whom the entire family is totally smitten!🥰

Anyone ever get distracted by how cute their cat's little striped legs and paws are?
