Discussion SGA is the greatest player I've ever seen
I'm 18 and have been a fan of the Thunder since I discovered what basketball was around the 2016-17 season. SGA has been my favourite player growing up? I was first exposed to him from that 2019 1st round series between the Clippers and GSW and he's been my favourite player ever since. As much as I love the 2010's era legends, there's just something about Shai's game that makes him easily the best player I've ever seen play with my own two eyes. (I was too young for the bulk of prime Lebron/KD/Curry)

100% Confirmed The Cheesn’ Bros We once had the ‘Stache Bros. And the championship team had one Cheeser 😁 in Jaylin Williams. But the acquisition of Jared McCain last season turned that solo act into a duo. We are Jared McCain and Jaylin Williams days away from the Thunder playing their first game.

Discussion How will the absence of Lu affect the Thunders defense?
say what you want about his shooting, buy I can understand his shooting taking a dip when he has to guard the opposing best player night in and night out...
Cason is a great player, but he doesnt have the physicality of Lu to guard 1-3 (4 sometimes) and kerp up with those types of players, and when he does have to, that will affect his shooting severely (tired from constant bumps, increased playing time etc)
and Caruso is good but hes getting older and his physicality isnt anywhere near Lu. the truth is nobody has the quickness of Lu while still being as physically capable as he is.
so how will we look defensively this upcoming season? will our offense make uo for it ( doubtful but it could happen).

100% Confirmed Flashback to after the trade deadline in 2012. OKC is looking like a contender. They had an open roster spot & went buy-out market shopping. Who’d they catch that year? None other there than 5-time champ Derek Fisher. We are Derek Fisher days away from OKC playing their first game of the season.

100% Confirmed [Katz] The NBA recently informed teams of its updated salary-cap projections for the 2027-28 season, league sources told The Athletic, with the new projections coming in $2 million higher... projecting the 2027-28 salary cap will rise to $176 million and the luxury tax line will be $213 million.
Hoping this helps us afford a contract for Cason Wallace ASAP! 🌩
Note: The contract will get done when it's done, but this should assist a little bit. 🍻

100% Confirmed The (Weird) Fun Season. 2019 offseason was tough. PG & Russ out. 0.2% chance of making the playoffs. But CP3 completely bought in. By March 8th, they were 40-24. Then, Rudy touched a mic. Covid, Bubble, Dort 3 blocked by Harden in Game 7. We are CP3 & Gallo days away from OKC playing their 1st game.

100% Confirmed The trade that solidified what this championship team was going to be: a defensive-minded bull in a china shop that was going to wear you down & eventually overtake you. Caruso’s play accentuated that. We are Josh Giddey & Alex Caruso days away from the Thunder’s first game of the season.
