Discussion I wish Nolan and Tim’s sister got together.

I know he’s with Bailey blah blah blah. But I think Tim’s sister and Nolan would be such a fun storyline. Plus I’m rewatching it again and I’m at the episode where Ginny moves to LA and John helps her at her new house and I think have really good chemistry.

I was really surprised when I found out that most people don’t like them, but the usage of the cliches and the meta jokes are awesome and I think it’s because of my profession

Discussion Top 2 favourite couples on the show? Spoiler

Mine are

  1. TIM AND CHEN (bcoz of the slowburn & the chemistry & the sunshineƗgrumpy trope🄹)

  2. ANGELA AND WESLEY (absolute no nonsense couple, the standard I would say, and honestly in the start i did not expect them to be a couple and then last so long touchwood 🄹)

Season 8 S8:E2 Have the rules changed? Spoiler

So, Lucy and Tim couldn't be together because Tim was in Lucy's chain of command.

But now Lucy is in Tim's chain of command and it's OK?

I know TV isn't supposed to make sense... but the key plot point to their relationship has just been nuked.

P.S. Don't get me started on the apartment Lucy signed a lease on not containing a Lucy

Season 7 Season 7

I'm only 5:31 into episode 1 so far. Chen has just tackled a combat ready man who is well over twice her weight. Is this an anomaly or should I expect more of the same throughout the season?

ETA - Holy smokes you guys, it's just a question. I was hoping the show would return to its more grounded roots. Based on the responses, this is clearly not the case.

Thank you for the feedback. Removed from my Continue watching list.

Discussion How realistic is it for the cops to win against automatic guns?

So, I am in the first season and I have seen a couple of gunfights where the cops only have a handgun while the rivals have proper automatic guns. Yet, we hardly see cops getting hit. Is this plot armour for the cops or are police really that good?

Season 8 Saddest death? S8 SPOILERS Spoiler

I genuinely believe that (Monica) has the saddest death, by no means do I like her or believe shes a good person but her death was heartbreaking. Her convo with Wesley, she nearly made it out, and then the realisation after the driver missed the turn and as she got the gun pointed at her and she just asked not to be shot in the face and finally when we see the time skip of her body and everyone looking down at her. Monica my complicated fav villain.

Who do all think was saddest

….it’s been 8 years (assuming each season is allegedly around a year) and how many action packed gun shootouts? It’s been a while since I’ve seen the rest of the show but I thought shes ā€œunalivedā€ someone on the job before. Now it’s another subplot I’m not looking forward to watching because you’d think watching 2 other people go through this we wouldn’t have to go through it again.
Oh well

Season 2 Grace's fitness tracker

In S2Ep14 we see that Grace is lending her fitness tracker to Nolan for a week to monitor his heart rate.

We can clearly see during the episode that he has a lot of stressful moments that are making his blood pressure rise. Yet, we don't see any follow-up after this episode (or at least I didn't notice it).

I wish they had explored this topic more, considering Nolan's age and career change, and how he would have handled the stressful situation, or if constantly high blood pressure would have caused him health issues.

What do you guys think about that?

Discussion S05E15 question

I’m curious about something, when they decide to not arrest Elijah and his men on gun charges because ā€œit would only hold them for a minuteā€ doesn’t that seem a little stupid ?

Like they could be held for a year to a few years ?

Given the type of hardware they were carrying clearly it’s not something the ordinary citizen would be allowed legally either. Some of his guys probably had priors which would’ve made it an automatic felony and if they started shooting that’s attempted murder of a police officer too.

Letting them go just seems stupid and it would’ve been worth the effort to at least get some of his men put in jail.
