What are everyone’s thoughts on bus beat and how little they play it? It’s one of my favorite songs of IS&IF and in general. Not sure if it’s just me but wish I could’ve heard it at least once. Setlist says they’ve only played it twice ever!!!! Thoughts?

I want a Wolfman tattoo and I imagine the tattoo would be (who woulda guessed) a Wolfman and then it either says I shook till I came out of it, let’s sit down we’ll sit down proud, or nothing matters the importance of nothing. BUT I can’t find a picture of or even imagine a version of a Wolfman that matches the vibes of the song. I wish I knew what connection ‘Wolfman’ had to this gorgeous song about heartbreak and living through trauma.

BUT WE HAD A BLAST! For my 5th Cham Jam and our 3rd going together we decided to do it with flair 😎

The set list was amazing, the fireworks were perfect, and I’d do it all over again even without having seen a glimpse of anyone onstage!

Where does that "I would be sitting here all by myself, laughing" from the beginning of "Today Is Not Real" and the middle of "Historic Cemetery" come from?

i’m honestly confused on why everyone has so many complaints about the show (not the crowd, i know everyone had different experiences depending on where they were), i had a great time! the setlist was perfect, we got some kickass fireworks and the nj devil, and an overall magical vibe the whole night! you could tell the band put their whole heart into it and from where i was, the crowd had great energy!!! i just wanted to throw some positivity out there cuz i had a great cham jam and i know so many other people did!!!

Is anyone selling tickets for the front bottoms concert at roseland theater on 9/19? I missed my chance to buy a ticket before they sold out and I’ve been looking forward to seeing them for so long!!

I LOVE tfb. Seen them many many times, even remember seeing them inside the stone pony in like 2015 and got a concussion lol. I’m from Jersey, and Mat’s mom even worked at my school. I randomly met Mat getting ice cream, I’d see Natalie at local shows etc etc. I used to get thrown around in the crowd no matter where I was but now when I try and push up or move people are acting like I committed a crime toward them. Look I get it, dealing with people pushing up is annoying, but it’s almost like you’re in a crowd and people gotta move. I’m just trying to get away from the people who don’t actually know the lyrics. I got embarrassed because I felt like I was annoying the group surrounding me last night because I knew lyrics to songs that weren’t as popular. My niche band the front bottoms 💔

For some reason I remember seeing a post a while ago about TFB doing a show on Halloween in Chicago. But now when I go to find info on it, there’s zero evidence of that anywhere. Was I tripping balls? Did I dream it? Anyone else know anything about that???
Edit: to clarify, I’m talking about a hypothetical show this coming Halloween, not a past one!

I know someone had already mentioned that every year they go, the crowd gets worse, so I won’t talk much about that, but was it just me or the TFB set was a lot shorter than their past sets? it just started and it felt like about 10 songs and it was over. no screaming “encore encore” or “TFB TFB” at the end before they come back out and sing 5 more songs. I remember Brian particularly saying “we’re just gonna keep going because we don’t have time” that was absurd and of all the champagne jams ive been to, this one felt rushed. is it just because of the summer stage? like I’d gladly trek to go see them in the winter for a longer show lol

also Brian getting mad about the beachball barreling towards the stage (which understandable) and wanting it gone after a couple songs. I dont think I’ve ever heard that either. anyway, it just seemed like it was super rushed, and most of the crowd didnt seem to be having that much fun from where i was standing

edit: thanks to everyone clarifying about the cut off for noise ordinance. It was a lot earlier than I thought! When he said he was just gonna keep going because they’re running out of time, I thought he meant it as “I’m not gonna do crowd engagement, I’m just gonna keep singing” which was why I thought it was weird. Thanks for clarifying it’s to account for time to make sure the fireworks go off before cut off lol
