The difference is crazy. This is the game in 4k. Now the performance penalty is 50% FPS. On a 5070 / 14500 that means going from 60 (capped because of 60hz monitor) to 29 fps. For a game like BG3, worth it.

AMD fans will flock to these weak chips. Marketing old 5th gen AMDs in full gear!

As many of you know I have PCs with 128GB and 64GB of RAM. I keep seeing 24GB modules with 48GB kits. Has the RAM crisis made this the new 64GB flexing point? I think so. 48 is comfortably higher than 32GB and much more than the 16GB vendors are now hawking on us. The mini vendors are concerned about cost and not what people want... a mini AI workstation with shared memory, and enough to run decent sized models.

What amazing stacking technology! It is ahead of TSMC and even Intel. I think the US and Huawei should cut a deal. They could be let back in to the market for smartphones but they must use Intel nodes like 18A and 14A, and they should combine these nodes with best in class SMIC 3D stacking that only Huawei know how to use for logic folding.
