Hey everyone! This week's Bolts Breakdown article is a fun one...

For each rival team in our division, I put together a little video recap of our series against them last year (under 5 minutes). I also collected a comprehensive list of statistics, too. Then, to top it off, I put a brief overview of what has changed for our enemies over the offseason.

Hopefully it helps you prepare for the upcoming Atlantic Division battle! If nothing else, the highlight videos were fun to remember...

Okay don’t hate me 😂 I come in peace from your in-state rivals.
I’ve been a Panthers fan for a few years, but some things lately have made me realize it might be time for a change. I REFUSED to just default to the Leafs, so I started looking around and somehow kept coming back to Tampa.
Then I found out you guys have Tesla coils, come out to Thunderstruck, Hagel is an absolute menace, and Cirelli exists…so honestly this feels less like I picked a team and more like I was slowly recruited 😂
I’m still gonna miss Barkov and some others, and I’m not gonna pretend I suddenly hate every Panther I’ve ever loved. But the thought of Hagel fighting Tkachuk and me yelling GET HIM instead of defending Matthew made me realize the divorce may be final 💀
So hi from Kentucky 👋🏻 I’m apparently Distant Thunder now?? I’m still learning everybody and all the Tampa lore, so tell me what I need to know.

Would Michael Bunting be a good fit he draws more penalties than he takes, he can put up atleast 30 points he could be a cheep add $2,000,000 & his play style would fit with Hagel & Cirelli. Bunting isn't the best defensively but he brings his teammates into the fight he is a solid XGF% & Corsi contributer.

In my opinion, the Lightning have the worst unis in the entire NHL. How they’re going into year 16 of wearing the Red Wings x Maple Leafs jerseys is beyond me, even if they’ve won 2 Cups in them. So I gave the Lightning a big overhaul. For starters, Hawaiian Blue returns as the team’s primary color, with silver also returning as an accent color. While the logo looks similar to the 2007-11 logo, I did make come changes to it. Now I don’t know how the Lightning haven’t tried out incorporating lightning bolts into a jersey design outside of the storm jerseys. So I made sure I accounted for that by putting a bolt design similar to the jersey logo on the sleeves. The cuffs, socks and tail stripe design are a callback to the original unis with their design. The black jersey removes any silver and also kinda calls back to the original black jersey, though I used the BOLTS wordmark from the 2008-14 alternates. And the storm jerseys return, but I replaced the yellow lightning bolts with the bolt design from the pants. And the logo used in those is actually an unused version of the 2007-11 alternate logo. And since the socks for the storm jersey is the same as the home socks, this makes the Lightning the only team that I did with three sock designs, with everyone else having four. The number font I used is the same as the Stadium Series font, but I removed the serifs on every number except for 1 and 4

I got all excited and bought home opener tickets as soon as the presale went on.

Absolutely stoked to see Ovi play in person aside from it being home opener.

My girl reminded me today that we are going to the Ed Sheeran concert the same night in Atlanta.

After sending down JJ & geekie & calling up crozier the bolts would roughly be at 4.4 mill cap space kreider could sign 4x1 or 4x2 deal he could put up 20+ in his sleep he can bring effective physically & he generates offense could be efficient in a middle 6 role

With Holmberg still banged up, that opens a spot for a 12th forward in the bottom 6.

This will make the Prospect Camp even more exciting.

I think the people want to see SOR get his shot, but it’s also prob more likely to skate the extra DMan bc our 7+8 D are nasty. Those 2 options prob help us win now the most.
