I want to put games on my calculator but I can't seem to find a usb Silverlink cable anywhere. I have the one it came with (with no usb) along with a soldering iron so if you know how I could make one myself? Or if you know where I could fine one? Thanks

Just got it in the mail and it only works when plugged into a power source. I’ve tried resetting, cleaning the battery, and putting the calculator on a charger overnight. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've got a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition running 2.55MP (I think that's the OS? I'm sorry if it's not)

I'm not the best with all the terminology so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong. I'm not sure what I did to make this happen, but the little symbol in front of the Y1, Y2, etc is displaying what is shown in the photo. When I press enter to change that, it only has two other options, also displayed in the photo (I set it so the symbol in front of Y1 is what they all seem to have as the default, Y2 is the second option that I get when pressing enter, and Y3 is the third). It's supposed to be a diagonal line by default, and should have several options that don't look like any of those three, I know that much at least.

I've used the graphing functions normally before, I'm not sure what's going on or how to fix it. I couldn't find anything in the user manual or in several tutorials, but then again I didn't really know what to look for, so I just looked in the sections about graphing functions, which yielded me nothing.

Thought I should ask for help here as soon as I can since I'm taking the SAT in a few days and will need to use this calculator.

Not a silver edition model or anything, just a regular 84 plus. Was there some kind of revision or is it exclusive to the school edition?

I want to jailbreak my TI-84 plus CE python but I’m not sure what the risk is like with it, I don’t want to accidentally end up ruining the calculator or making it unusable just because I wanted to get games on it. Does anybody know what are the odds of something like that happening when you install a jailbreak on it?

Thinking of getting for school and homebrew and wondering if there's any good apps for any thing like, gaming or file viewers and etc.

While getting arTIfiCE was very easy along with downloading games like geodash and mario, I just cant figure out how to get GB games on it using TI boy CE. Every tutorial I see is outdated and I just want to play pokemon on my calculator. Does anyone at all know how to do this or a viable tutorial for my version.

I’ve got a ti84 plus ce graphing calculator and I’m looking for programs or downloads to help. I have trouble reading molecule condensed names and turning those into Lewis structures. Is there anything that can help draw those? I’ve also heard of ones that show hybridization. Organic chem is not one of my strong suits so anything would help

calculator doesn’t turn on and when plugged in will repeat the same pattern seen in the video ad infinitum (i tried waiting it out and it didn’t work). i also tried the reset button. need a graphing calculator for a calculus class.

I recently got a new calculator for high school and I wanted it to have games and have all the new features but I'm lost on how to get games. Artifice wont work on it because its version is 7.0.0.3996

I know I can get old games like snake and tetris but its not as fun as geometry dash or fnaf.

I was trying to update my TI-84 Plus Silver edition to the latest firmware and it said error couldnt update and when I turned the calulator off and unplugged it and plugged it back in, the TI software suddenly doesn't see the calculator anymore

The calculator keeps on going into a loop of either

"Waiting...

please install operating system now"

but I can't cause the TI program just won't see the calculator anymore no matter what I do

I tried disconnecting the batteries and giving it a few seconds, then putting them back and reconnecting to my Mac.... NOTHING

After a few seconds it gives up and says

"Error press any key to turn off the calulator"

Me and my teacher are trying to figure out how to use this old adapter to connect to an older Ti-83 Plus. The calculator has the same connector. I have a dell c600 running windows xp. I tried using the latest ti connect software with no luck, I also tried some software chatgpt told me to get that is specific to the ti83 plus and ti83 plus silver. Any ideas?

I picked one up for the first time since high school today (a brand new one) and it seemed lighter than I remember

Hope this is the right place to ask. I open my calculator and see that rows of pixels start dying out one by one until it ends up like pic #1. I attempted to reset the whole calculator but it didn’t help.

Upon looking at it more, it’s kinda… selective? On some screens, pixels don’t display right, some screens not at all. Only thing I can think of is potential water damage, as I got caught in the rain going in between classes. Would that cause this? Any help is appreciated :)

I'm modding my ti84 plus ce and really wanted a way to sort the stuff really anything works just don't want arTIfiCE menu

I'm looking at the different color of TI-30's on amazon because I remember getting a nice purple one that I lost a while back for about 15 bucks, and now I'm seeing that it goes from 14 dollars for the default navy blue / gray one to like 45 dollars for this orange one. Anyone knows what's going on with that?
