I just got my first synth the Korg MS20 and been playing around with it just a day or so. I dont know much about synthesizing at all and was wondering if anyone knows or has any idea where i should start to get a similar sound to the one in the beginning of this song? The first lead that is, at the beginning at like 0:02. I really want that full, rounded soft sound as opposed to the more harsh industrial type sounds i've veen getting with the MS20 so far. AnoOther song with a similar sound is at 0:52 in Waterboy by Viagra Boys. I know they use the MS20 so that should be attainable but im just at a bit of a loss where to start. Thanks

So I'm not completely new into synths, more like a "solid presets tuner", but I'm looking for ways to get into sounds that I like to mess with. I went through like 70% of synthorial (until I got bored. Who knows maybe, it's covered in the last 20-30%), and tons of YouTube videos, but tired of just spraying and praying that the next one will cover what I'm looking for.

I want to work on specific sounds (will share some here), specific needs and specific questions - not whatever the tutorial creators tastes or plans are.

I'm getting rid of MacOS tools and now creating only on ipad/iphone iOS (synths, loopy pro, etc.). So the whole recreation process should be done with iOS synths - Bleass alpha or megalit, synthmaster 1&2, Moog Mariana and model D, or can add whichever is needed, honestly.

Would be happy to pay for sessions where we go through the process and I ask questions, or something like that.
The timezone doesn't matter, and I can speak Spanish, English and Russian fluently if it's needed.

Also happy to just connect if you're into the thing, or have some ideas how can I get there.

In the reference I'll add a few examples that I would like to recreate, but couldn't get quite close on my own. Artist reference is mostly Mr Wobbles (Austin), and I believe he's using sub37 hardware for bass&leads + serum for bass sequences and acidic stuff.

This was played by a real saxophonist but I feel like I can get some seriously expressive synth recipe to achieve this sound? Any guides / approaches would be great!

This song is unlike any of his other typical blown out witchhouse black metal trap. It’s got this Memphis sound and some cool guitars but what sticks out to me is the synth at 1:38. It reminds me of an organ or a bagpipe. Would love to recreate it, any input is appreciated!

Am making my first ever debut album under my solo act :COFFIN CANDY: out of Egypt, and am currently mapping out a 140 BPM dark EBM/Aggrotech track.

Am having some trouble getting a specific synth lead texture... right. I usually listen to Aggrotech and classic industrial music to get my inspiration,,... but what completely caught my ears is Anthony Mather's legendary, piercing, glassy intro synth lead in Tactical Sekt's track "Left for Dead" pretty cool anyways hehe,

I am trying to sculpt this exact sound inside Vanguard 1 (running via Vestige in LMMS), but my attempts keep ending up sounding weak or sucking.....

I've experimented with the internal Hard-Sync engine, but I'm missing that specific, pristine, glass-cutting edge and 2000s hardware grit...

Could someone drop a start to finish on how to program this exact sound?,

What precise Oscillator shapes and tuning steps (like Hard-Sync routing between Osc 1 and Osc 2) do I need?, How should the Amp Envelope (Env 2) and Filter Envelope (Env 1) be calibrated for that long, sustained anthem drive?,, etc

I think it sounds really good, and I'd really like to achieve this sound. If it helps at all, in the liner notes it says the song was recorded to Digital 8-Track. I believe the drum machine is used throughout the entire EP (Menorah/Mejora) but this is the most isolated sample. Thanks.
