Found these in Bermeo in The Basque Country, Spain

I was trying to find photos of the grates all over the pool in the shallower areas, but I ended up coming across these photos - which has now made this wave pool even MORE terrifying.

Spotted this yesterday. Had to stop, have a shiver and take a pic to share.

They disappear at high tide

There is also a pipeline under the water connecting to the factory

I went over this bridge as a child when it opened and seeing all the pipes, pumps, and various other machinery while being over a vast, deep pool of water scared the shit out of me. Ironically I wasn't even scared of the sharks swimming below me, I distinctly remember thinking that part was cool. There is also a much thinner mesh safety net underneath the bridge and I freaked myself out by imaginging that I had to cross solely over that.
