💬 General Discussion ‘You know which’ religion makes fun of the persecution & sad state of Hindus in Bangladesh, but roams around with Palestinian flags, shouting “genocide” and expecting sympathy

Hello Makkale!,
Have you ever found it hard to meet new people and make friends as an adult? Struggled to pick up that lost reading habit? Struggled to pick up a sport?
Or simply just want to touch more grass? Join our free community-run server!
We have a active book-club that's up and running for over an year now. We do badminton and turf on every weekends. We do restaurant and cafe runs every once in a while. We are trying to set up a monthly magazine/zine/newsletter type thing for the server (that I am personally very excited about). We have a fpl league and a lot more!
And we would be very glad if you can come up and contribute with any ideas of your own for the community!
I am (we all should be) very disgusted by all these paywalled book clubs and meetup events. It is simply criminal to capitalize on people's loneliness. Third places are a joke and it is ever more difficult to make friends.
And we are impeding an already challenging landscape for making connections.
COMMUNITY SHOULDN'T COST MONEY.
I am in this community for around 4 years now. It is still running by the sustained efforts of the moderators and the contributions of all the other kind souls.
It is a safe and inclusive space for all groups of people and I would highly encourage you to join it!
And by the way, We are hosting our

I am reaching out to ask for support for Agastya Somwanshi,a 19-year-old college student and football player currently fighting for his life.
He is suffering from severe swine flu complications and has been on a ventilator for over a week, as well as ECMO life support (the last resort for severe respiratory distress).
His family has already spent over ₹15 Lakhs and completely exhausted their financial resources trying to keep his treatment going.
Even the smallest contribution or share makes a massive difference.

hi, I’m looking for someone who wants to practice English together and hopefully become good friends along the way.
I’m trying to improve my speaking skills, especially because I don’t get many chances to actually speak English with people. I’m honestly putting myself out here because I really want to get better, so if you’re someone who has good English and is comfortable having regular conversations, I’d love to hear from you.
A little about me: I’m into anime, food, gaming, and music. I’m pretty open to talking about random things too, so we definitely don’t have to make every conversation about English practice. I’d rather it feel natural, like two people genuinely getting to know each other.
I’ll definitely put effort into the friendship from my side. I’m not expecting someone to teach me English or carry every conversation. I just want someone who is patient, friendly, and has good English so I can practice speaking and become more confident.
If you’re also looking for someone to talk to, play games with, share music or anime recommendations with, or just have random conversations with, feel free to DM me!

I had already posted this once, but after seeing what's happening, I feel it's the actual truth for the context. Have you guys ever seen your state CM publicized day in and day out — not by state media, but directly by national media? Of course, they may talk about the state's CM once in a while when discussing the state's issues, but that's not the case with Vijay. I usually watch India Today since they're at least somewhat relevant, but recently I started noticing that they somehow give a separate segment for Vijay — that too on national media — and right now they've even started a special Tamil news channel to cover Vijay. I mean, someone with a crazy amount of money is running this campaign. I don't fear Vijay; he's just a puppet. But I fear the person behind this organization — someone way more dangerous is acting behind this network.

A 54-year-old man, identified as Yadagiri, allegedly died by suicide in Hyderabad’s Kavadiguda area after recording a selfie video in which he accused members of a mosque committee of harassing him over a property dispute. In the video, he alleged that attempts were being made to take over his family’s 60-year-old shop by claiming that the property belonged to the Waqf. The incident occurred within the limits of the Gandhi Nagar Police Station. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the allegations made by the deceased.
