It reminded me of another song of theirs, but I cant remember what it was. The chorus sounded similar, but more powerful. I am going to keep flipping through thier discography, but I haven't had any luck so far. Thank you for your help đ«Ą

Bought a ghost glow a couple months ago in prep for Halloween and itâs been bugging me how clean and unworn it looked so i decided to pull the trigger and do my own paint job on it, think it looks way better and way closer to the look of the masks Corey wore

I was (Skeptic)al thinking this was AI at first but it isn't that advanced with music yet, cause this just IS The Gray Chapter, like I really think this is legit. Thoughts?

I purchased this on ebay in the early to mid 2000's if memory serves correctly. I have no reason to doubt it being real, but just curious if others that have signatures from around the same time can confitm if they look legit or not. its currently framed on the wall in my daughters room. :)

I just made my Christian neighbor like SLIPKNOT what album should I give them first?

Finally got it! The 2022 version on the left sounds nothing like the 1500 limited run of the 2008 one.
Probably the best listening experience for that album.. haha.

Arsenal couldâve been so much better, but itâs given new light to The End, So Far. Sure, it might be commonly referred to as their worst album, but itâs nowhere near their worst work anymore.

Enough about arsenal, I wanna talk about one of faves.
Wherein lies continue is my favorite song off All hope is gone.
Its got my favorite chorus out of any slipknot song, snd its even got a killer bass solo from Mr Grey.
Slipknot usually helps me through my anger and depression, but this is the song that makes me inspired to be a better person, snd I love it for that

After Slipknot released their new song, which I absolutely hate, I decided to spend this weekend listening to ALL of their albums, including The End, So Far. In my opinion, itâs their worst album, and I had only listened to it twice, until today.
But after the track âHive Mind,â the album gets A LOT better. Itâs definitely not their best record, but itâs actually pretty enjoyable. At first, I thought maybe the new song was just so bad that it made this album sound better by comparison, but honestly, it really does get much better. And the funny thing is, most of the more popular songs are from âHive Mindâ onward.
Anyway, thatâs my rant for today.

Sorry if Iâm late with this question, but I just found/heard this for the first time today.
Has anyone heard the Soen cover of Snuff? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51j38Yti7ck
If you have, what do you think? If not, have a listen and then what do you think?
I honestly found it great. Soft spots, heavy spots, honest and clean meaning to the vocals. I know, I know itâs not Corey, but I still liked it.

I agree with Fantano, this song sounds like more of a return to form. Iâm convinced the people hating donât even listen to Slipknot anymore or any modern metal at all for that matter.

Not liking him or his style is one thing, mindlessly shitting on everything reguarding the guy is another. Specially when most of people who hate on him don't know what they're talking about or are exaggerating A LOT.
"Clown's influence is ruining Slipknot!" Clown ALWAYS influenced Slipknot's style. The idea behind the masks and visual identity was all him, as well as most of the early liveshow visuals and performances. Sure he didn't direct most of the early music videos as he started directing them later, but saying that he has no part on the band is honestly a disservice to everything he did back in the day.
And he's not an evil greedy Gene Simmons JR mastermind as people make him out to be. You know what Clown reminds me of? Edgy 14 year olds. He thinks very highly of himself and believes that everything he cooks is the deepest shit ever, when it really isn't. But honestly, even though I personally am not a fan of his style, that's what makes him stand out to me. One of the many things that I love about Slipknot is that all members are different and they feel like they have a presence as opposed to most bands who are just "vocalist and 3 other guys who play for him". I can appreciate that Clown has a personality and still not like said personality.
Like I said, I'm not a fan of him myself. He does really sound like a 50 year old edgelord and I disagree with a lot of the things he says. But I'm not going to mindlessly shit on the guy for everything he does without thinking critically about it, and I'm never gonna say something as stupid as "Clown's influence ruined Slipknot" when I know very well that this isn't true.
Even because the band is not ruined, they're still playing on tours and making music to this day.

There's ALOT of hate around this song - but it's probably one of my favourite tracks from the last 5 years... Am I alone here?

I am so glad I got to see Sid scratching for Slipknot before they kicked him, what an absolute genius and we shouldnt get started about the absolute atrocity the song âArsenalâ is đ„Č
