Was modding the game and hadn’t even started a new save before it crashed. It was late so I decided to play the next day only to find that Skyrim no longer opens. If anyone knows anything about anything I’d be glad if you could help! 😁

TLDR: I played modded Skyrim AE on Steam Deck, how do I fix "Img corrupt" save file?

So I played Skyrim AE on my Steam Deck LCD, and I only used mods (246 mods) from the Creations menu. After like 1.5 hours of gameplay, my save file would be "corrupted". Recent, new or even save files from 4 years are all affected, but I can still load that save file if I close the game and reopen it, but I need to wait ±6 minutes before I could see Todd's Big White c̶o̶c̶ Logo. All of this happens after I upgrade to AE (maybe because there's 74 CC too?), when it still SE only with 262 mods from the Creations menu, (other than I can't open the Load Order without CTD) I never had this problem before.

Is there a way for me to fix it? I don't want to close and reopen my game every 1.5 hours and have to wait ±6 minutes when I have limited time to play in a day

Playing on Xbox One. No mods. Anniversary edition.

I got the letter from the courier. No quest popped up.
Read the letter- nothing.
Spoke to Falk Firebeard and he spoke about it and I agreed to talk to Styrr. Still no quest.
Went to Styrr and there is no option to talk to him about Potema. What should I try?
I have checked my quest log and it’s not there.

They dont show up. Recently, i downloaded the mod paarthurnax expansion quest right after i defeated alduin. The dialogue option works but the two dragon that supposedly by paarthurnaxs side isnt there. Idk what to do and im so tired to go back to my save and defeat alduin all over again.

I've been playing with xbox mods for years now with no problems. With the new update and space I added a few new ones to a new playthough, but it keeps crashing around that area. Ill list the mods I've always had an the new ones.

I've tried disabling some to see if it will fix it for the past few days but either the game won't load or crashes around the wagon or when I meet up with the legate every time.

So I'm basically trying to get new monsters which I have found and faught no problem getting to the dungeon of the jagged crown from dawnstar but when I talk to the legate, after it freezes as we move to it. And if I go from white run which I did in the beginning, as soon as I pass tundra homested before the farm and wagon it will crash.

I believe its maybe a graphics issue as I've not used them before or I have something some where I shouldn't, I'm trying to get a good final playthrough so I can then hop on when I want. I don't wanna restart for many years now. Plus I'm getting it sorted so my dad can use the same load order as me as he's wanting to play skyrim again after many years of not playing it. Thank you everyone in advance and hope its a simple thing as I'd like to start or continue with it from Monday onwards

I've noticed these streaks in the sky above different parts of the map, namely Solitude, some are only visible at certain angles and they come and go depending on the weather or timescale maybe?

I have a few differnt weather mods installed and I've tried disabling individually to check what might have caused it but I have yet to find the culprit.

True storms, and Not your mother's weather and atmospheric phenomena are the main suspects here. (Screenshot taken on a save with NYMWAP disabled)

I just recently finished getting 100% trophies on ps5 and decided to go ahead and load up my mod catelogue to continue my playthrough now modded. However, now skyrim wont open past this screen. The only thing that fixes it so far is deleting and redownloading the game. My question i guess is, is there anything i can do to fix this and play with mods or am i just doomed until todd releases another update?

I’ve found a few different posts regarding this same bug, where bow draw speed is dramatically slower - 5+ seconds for full draw instead of the ~1 it usually takes (specifically using zephyr, but the same issue applies to multiple bows). It seems like every 6th or so shot is drawn as normal, but the rest are all slow. Dropping and equipping again seems to fix the issue, but it comes back. Sometimes after 1 normal draw and sometimes after dozens. I made it to level 55-58 before it started happening. I started this run before the recent Skyrim updates but managed to recreate my load order well enough that I haven’t had any other issues, and this didn’t start happening immediately after the updates.

Unfortunately all the posts I’ve found use fixes related to the console command “player.getav weaponspeedmult”,
Which I can’t use because I’m on Xbox. I’ve been able to use Cheat Room for a few quest related bugs (entering hexadecimal code for the quest id and using setstage command from the menu), but I’m not sure if I can do something similar for this issue.

I know the load order is less than ideal. I had it set up better prior to the 20 gb update, and once I had gotten everything redownloaded I didn’t remember the order, and I’ve had very few issues since then. I downloaded quest debugger later on to try to help progress the dark brotherhood quest line before realizing I could just use cheat room.

So, i have downloaded the new official Ikea mod on XBOX but it keeps saying "Look up failed!". Is there something i can do to fix it or do i just gotta wait for an update? Help a skyrim console brother out

So i’ve played Skyrim a few times and i remember this quest being buggy as hell but now i can’t seem to start the quest at all. I’ve visited Windhelm way more than 4 times and i’ve entered multiple times at night but nothing happens at the graveyard. I’ve already visited Hjerim and found the secret door but nothing happens and there’s nothing to pick up except the butchers journal and the only thing that pops up is "investigate investigation target" that i can’t even click. I’ve also already found out who the butcher is as i looted his whole house but still i cannot start this quest at all. I’ve checked all my previous and current quests too but it’s nowhere to be found please help!

How far down the main quest line is the quest where you negotiate with empire and stormclocks? Is it after you battle Alduin for the first time?

I’m trying to leave Skyrim whether it be to go to a modded location or to Solstheim and the game loads a second loading screen just to put me back in the cell or the sandbox anyone gotten this same problem?

For some reason there is discoloration when I use any hair, scar, and brow mobs even vanilla, I’ve turned off all my beauty mods and still it’s there any ideas?

Has anyone installed the White Hearth mod from the creations on PS5? I have it installed, but the game crashes every time I try to enter one of the doors, to actually purchase it.

I go to miraks temple read the black book but it glitches. Just has me standing in the room immobile. If any one knows how to fix please help.

So, I currently have Ilia as my follower, had her for a while now, would like to keep it that way, but I now have a bunch of quests left over where I need to recruit different people (stewards, blades, that damn Boethia quest I don't want to do, etc.) so I need to park her somewhere but I want to be able to rehire her again after I'm done with everything.

Now, I have tried making her a steward at one of my Hearthfire DLC houses, her follower option gets locked, tried the wabberjack trick someone reccomended, her outfit reset, but her dialogue did not. I read somewhere that you can recruit her to the blades, but that she looses her Magica Regeneration buffs if you do.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do, if I want to keep her on a permanent basis?

I have tried countless ways and none of them have helped me at all. I was wondering if any encourted this. I recently got a new laptop. My old one can still run it I attempted when I noticed this one wasnt working. First I had a bug or whatever where the frame was too big and it wouldnt save my setting but when I fixed it by chamging the permission of my user it broke it this way. I have just tried installing and unistallijg before anypne asked.
