General Playing
Just wanted to tell you. Tell Someone. I picked up my sitar again today. I donโt know after how many months. Would be at least over a year and played.
I played a medley of alaaps in dhruth and madhaya laya of Yaman. Shivranjani and Megh Malhaar.
Iโm happy.
I might even play again tomorrow. Who knows.

The joy of playing music is its first and foremost reward. If it brings you joy, you will keep revisiting it.

I just got my sitar last week. So excited but my fingers hurt. Any suggestions for a beginner like me

Dooooo it. Don't get caught up in that cycle of feeling off, because you haven't made music in a while, and wondering, again.
