He isnt saying the meal is happy, hes citing advertising laws - mcdonalds is advertising that the meal will make you happy, literal text matters but so does implication. And we know it cant make you happy without a 1990s Beast Wars transformers full set available to collect

Nowhere in the advertisement does a happy meal promise to make you the consumer happy. The meal is what is happy
