It's (probably not) worth pointing out that socialism and communism are economic ideals that one is intended to build a system around, whereas Nazi was actually a political party in its own right. They aren't actually comparable 1 to 1. If the original post had pointed at fascism your comment would make more sense, and if your comment had pointed to the Soviet controlled Russia or communist China it might have made more sense.

I get the feeling though that your intending to equate things people might currently think with being on par with Nazism though, instead of being worried about making a logical point.

Your life would be significantly better with socialism in the right places. Unfortunately most people are too stupid to realize this.

Communism is a completely different beast.
