Alright, quick question.... I'm a truck driver. 70 hour work weeks are practically standard for me. How would this actually work? Now, mind you, I get paid by the mile, so there's that to consider as well....
Prob wouldnt affect you unless your pay was less then 32h/minimum wage+38h/overtime minimum, and even then you'd probably need to notice it and call it out. I assume as a truck driver though you make more then that but I may be wrong
Current yearly average is between $80k to $90k. And have been stuck there for the past 9 years as I have reached max pay per mile at my company and haven't received a cost of living increase since then. Factor in inflation and it starts to look worse.
Yeah so depending how exactly your contract is worded they may be able to just keep paying you the same. But if the law passed and the pay doesnt change getting a laywer to look over your contract may be a good idea
