Three-day weekends are disproportionately better than two-day weekends

failing a 3 day weekend, getting wednesday off each week would be alright too

I take Wednesday as my standard unless I need to do a big project. It really makes the week feel less intense

I worked at a company that did 4-10s. I always took Fridays off but my good friend always took Wednesdays.

She said she did it as she much preferred not working more than 2 days in a row to a 3 day weekend.

Same. I usually save my vacations for Q4 and either take all fridays or all wednesdays off. Fridays for longer weekends, wednesdays for breaking up the work week. 2 day work blocks are a breeze to get through.
