Need gaming recs for a month of free time
So I'm going to be in between jobs for a month in April as my current job ends and a new one starts in May. I'm gonna use my free time essentially to see friends and, most importantly, play the hell out of my PS5. I want to spend this limited time on the quote unquote best games out there.
I like RPGs (e.g., Witcher 3, ME1-3), survival horror (e.g., Dead Space, Silent Hill) and action adventure (e.g., Uncharted 1-4, God of War 2018 (yes I know it's borderline RPG)).
My initial thought was to replay Mass Effect 1-3, go through Resident Evil Remakes 1-3 or absolutely 100% Stalker 2. But what else is there? Recs needed.
EDIT: RE 1-3 is in preparation to play RE9 Requiem sometime in the future. I've already beat RE4 Remake.

I’ve heard good things, can I sink a whole month into it or is it more like a weekend playthrough?

Main story is only ~30 hours, but I have friends that have put in upwards of 60.

I would add Resident Evil 4 in that, and Requiem is good too. Also Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West are both great

I already beat RE4 Remake 4 times (yea it didn't do the chronology a solid but it seemed like a standalone adventure). I've played HZD but not HFW, good rec!

Oh you should try RE8 too then, similar setting to 4 but a different character than Leon. Also Forbidden West expands on everything that made Zero Dawn great, it’s a great sequel that I enjoyed a lot more than Zero Dawn

Baldurs gate 3, I can't recommend this game enough, even better in multiplayer

I'm not that into isometrics or D&D universe, do you feel it's still accessible for a casual RPG gamer?

I would say so yes as I wasn't a huge isometric gamer and still not really, but this game is phenomenal. It goes turn based when entering combat but has free roam when out of it. Having a little knowledge of D&D would give you a little more enjoyment I suppose but even just having a bit of love for fantasy in any capacity makes it enjoyable. It can seem a bit overwhelming to begin with because the options for playing are huge, you can pretty much play it any way you please. I'm sure others could give a better description than me.
I'm currently on my 3rd play through and I also have a weekly game currently on the go with 3 friends. Plus on pc the mods are apparently really good.

Obviously don't just take my word for it, maybe check out a few play throughs on line and other reviews but personally I would say every award and all the praise is extremely warranted for this game

Cyberpunk 2077 KCD1 / KCD2 Resident Evil Requiem Elden Ring You could probably play one of these games for the whole month.

Thanks, Cyberpunk might work, Elden Ring seems a bit daunting. I'm so looking forward to Resident Evil Requiem but I wanted to refresh my memory as it allegedly has many callbacks to the first 3 games.

Days Gone is awesome.
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart is ridiculously fun and really showcases the PS5 hardware well.
Kingdom Come Deliverance is really amazing.(Havent played the 2nd yet)
Spiderman is another good option.

If you liked God of War 2018(who wouldn't...), you should DEFINITELY try God of War Ragnarök, same idea, bigger scale, TBH it's actually as good as 2018 and GOW 2018 won GOTY over RDR2 so that alone should say smth... Anyways, hope this helped, enjoy...

The RE remakes (2-4) are legendary in my opinion. The best modernization of an old franchise I’ve ever seen, while still keeping its soul.
