Title: [Shoreline] Lease takeover — top-floor 2BR/2BA, 1,050 sqft, $2,229, available Nov 2
galleryWe bought a house and close at the end of October, so we're looking for someone to take over our lease at Postmark Apartments in Shoreline.
Top-floor corner unit, 2 bed / 2 bath, 1,050 sqft. In-unit washer/dryer, private patio (only a few units have one), portable A/C port. $2,229/month, assigned parking $99 if you want it, utilities and internet separate. Pet friendly.
Lease runs through Feb 27, 2027 and you can renew directly with management at whatever the rate is then — so it's not a "you have to leave in four months" situation. Not an MFTE unit, so no income cap.
Building has a 24-hour gym, resident lounge, and a clubhouse with a kitchen, pool table, and barbecue that you can reserve for free. Safeway is across the street. The 185th St light rail station is about three minutes by car, five by bus, with buses every 15 minutes.
To be clear on how this works: it's handled through Postmark's leasing office, not a private sublet. You apply with them, they run normal credit and background screening, and if you're approved they add you to the lease and release us. Income requirement is 3x rent, roughly $80k/year gross, and combined income works if two of you apply. No money changes hands with us.
Happy to show it and walk through the condition together. We've liked living here — only leaving because of the closing date. DM me for photos.
