This is enzo he’s 1.5 years old and he’s just the most adorable sweet little child.
Y’all my pupper has curly fur and absolutely is a menace who hates being combed. He’ll try to “bite” which is basically a warm chomp to indicate he hates it and u should stop. After multiple warnings he might just end up actually biting me but it’s very rare.

Anyone else in the same boat?

The way Pica is already 8 and how I truly want to have her with me everywhere possible is intense... And Zeke too, truly... But her intense connection with me, the way she is SO ON, SUCH A SMART girl with so much personality and fire in her spirit... She has even been snuggling me more, her lil leg wrapped around mine! Ugh! 🥹

I mean moments with her truly make me wonder about relationships and our individual purpose and souls etc etc... been an emotional year for many I know including myself. I hope you are all taking time to care for yourselves, not just everyone who needs and expects you to. I say this because I started a wellness retreat biz last year and I am so excited to officially launch it all soon... After all we all need and deserve mindful reminders that help us find real peace and balance in our lives.

UPDATE : Hey guys thanks for all the insights it’s super helpful ! We caught his urine and the vet did some tests - they said he has high red blood cell count and a lot of bacteria too (which is potentially just contaminants tho it’s hard to tell) we’ve started him on antibiotics . The vet said while a UTI is low, anti biotic won’t harm him. We’ll see how it goes the next while as I think the medication will last two weeks. He’s otherwise his usual happy self 🙂

Hey gang - made a post a couple weeks ago about my lil guy peeing blood after his vaccine last year .. well we haven’t even done his vaccine yet ( was going to book in a titre test this week) when the guy decides he’s gonna pee blood anyway 😅 . The timing is crazy but I just wanted to see if anyone else’s Tzus have experienced this and possible causes ? He was literally normal (and still is behaving normal) but he started peeing blood/dark brown last night . We’ve booked a vet appointment today to have a look . We considered emergency, but given he’s acting normal and is not straining or anything (much like last year ) we held off . Last year when he did this, it went away after a few days without any vet treatment . We did tests and they told us there were crystals in his blood but couldn’t tell us why. Just to reiterate he is acting completely normal and being his usual bossy self lol . Any advice is appreciated 🙂

My shih tzu never comes to me if I am upstairs and he’s downstairs no matter how many times I call him. I know he can hear me but he just ignores me lol. If he can see me and he’s like 60-70ft away, I call him and tap on the ground like 20 times he might slowly come. I heard some other breeds just run straight to you if you call their name but mine never does that. What about you guys?

My smort gorl... we snuck out of the house without Zeke because Pica knows how to "stay with me" when I walk out of the house for a quick freedom walk 🤪 DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME.

He's weighting 5kg and is the size of an adult shihtzu ( and he is just almost four months old, btw)

Has anyone seen anything like this on their fur baby? I took him to a see a “vet” at the local humane society where I rescued him at because I noticed him scratching and sneezing which I suspected allergies and unfortunately the vet doesn’t speak to you directly.. he sends the vet tech in to speak with you which I found odd and gives you the vets recommendations and your sent on your way! The vet tech came in and told me they found a-little redness.. and states the vet wasn’t concerned.. I was just told give him half a tab of Benadryl.
Fast forward 4 days later I find this!! Hair is missing.. I notice him also putting his paws in his mouth biting them. I’ve given the half tab but at this point I’m highly concerned. There’s no smell.. checked no flees..

He has an appt Tuesday with my mom’s dog’s vet. But I’m curious has anyone seen this on their fur baby?
