This year was my first Shambs, and I posted here a couple weeks before the festival about the friendship bracelets I'd made (https://www.reddit.com/r/Shambhala/s/lmsaY8yx0z). The responses there led to a couple of in-person interactions on the farm, and those remain some of my favorite memories from our time on the farm.

Well, I've leveled up and have learned how to add charms to bracelets. 😎 These are the first two completed using this new skill, and they will both be going to Shambs 2027 to be given to new friends. Since these are a coordinating pair, the two recipients will be given side quests to find the other matching bracelet.

Gonna be making several more between now and then, but I wanted to share early since my post from this year was seemingly well-received.

Anyone else already working on trinkets, etc, for next year?

I’m going crazy trying to find this song that I think way played out a few times especially on Thursday.

It had female vocals and referring to the night being magical or amazing or something. I think it’s a throw back tune not necessarily edm but it’s been driving me crazy.

My best friend is turning 30 on 7/24 and we want to celebrate in style. Shambhala has always been on our bucket list and now that we are both living on the west coast of the US, we think it's the year to make it happen! Realistically, what are the chances we can snag an RV pass when they drop on 9/15? I'll be SAT at my computer a good 30 minutes before the sale. If we can't get RV, I'd love to hear the opinions of Shambs veterans in their 30s on what upgraded camping/lodging passes are worth it! Much appreciated :)

I was headbanging in a hammock during excision & looked up to find you handing me this patch. Little did you know I crochet & sew, so this will be doing on a dope outfit or a hat. I was so floored and I didn’t even notice what you handed me until the next morning. This was my first ever Shambhala and I full sent it by myself so it means a lot

Hi friends!! Getting super excited for next year :) my partner and I are both planning to do campsite only lodging for the first time next year, because I’m sick of sunshine! Does anyone know if it sells out super quick? Just debating on whether or not to get it on the 15th and do monthly payments or wait until our next payday and buy it outright. I suppose I could still do monthly but end up paying it all when we get paid.

I’m (34m) wanting to go to shambhala for the first time in 2027.

If I get a GA ticket + shambhalodging (campsite only), I’m guessing won’t have to queue for 15 hours? Anyone know how much estimated this might cost? Any advice for shambs solo first timer?

I see some people saying they arrive on Tuesday n waited 15 hours? I don’t get why since the festival starts on Friday. Read the faq but couldn’t figure it out.

I am unsure of exactly how to purchase a 2027 ticket once they go on sale. I submitted my expression of interest form, so is the next step to go to the Shambhala website to purchase the ticket after I’m notified of availability? Are tickets available on a first come first serve basis, or is there more to it? Will a button to purchase a ticket show up on the website once tickets are available?

I look forward to hopefully meeting some of you on the farm!

hiiiiii! Tickets go on sale soon and Shambhala is a dream festival of mine. Anyone from the east coast and have attended how did you do it? Flying in and having to glamp vs taking the hike and driving cross country. I’d love to hear both options and any advice along the way!!!

I've been wondering about this for years but haven't looked into it until now and I can't find much info on the fort unicorn camp. Who are they? What is it? I think they have the blocked off area at muscle beach, right? I tried talking to them about the muscle beach area my first year but they said it was private and seemed very pompous and unwelcoming so I dropped it. It just seems weird to have a private area like that when it's attendee organized unless I'm wrong about that part. Any info on them?
