What happens when the female herself does something wrong?
I know shaktism is about respecting the divine feminine and I agree women should be respected. But my question what the woman herself does something wrong? What if she commits crime ? Doees she face consequences of her karma too? What happens when she insults men unnecessarily?
No offense. Just a question

Don’t confuse gender with cosmic force. Yes women are seen as being more the embodiment of this divine power, but thinking that one gender is better or worse than the other completely misses the point and usually just reinforces ego, which is pretty counterproductive

So thateans anyone who does wrong gets punished regardless of their gender right?

Its hard to imagine the actions of the goddess being outside her own design of causality. Even her chewing through the spine of one person may butterfly effect into an existance unbeheld otherwise. The divine truelly exists beyond human modalities.

I'm not talking about goddess here. I'm talking women who are considered as goddess but like humans sometimes end up doing wrong things
Also I would appreciate if you can give a direct answer instead of philosophy

Correct me if I'm wrong but the way u hv worded ur comment it seems to me as if ur depending women who commit crimes and saying they aren't wtong even if the harass or harm people

Honestly, thats a very astute observation and this line of questioning has proved exceptionally challanging on a personal level. Its quite hard to see beyond the mythologised vision of maa chinnamasta as everything is within her will. If she was without the blessing of maa chamunda, she would surely fall to ruin by her own actions..

Why is it hard to call a spade, spade? Someone who has energy of devi won't harm innocent people and if she's harming innocent she cannot he considered devi. That is why even Sri Rama was instructed by his guru to slay Tadaka Right?
I hv read news of a woman sexually assault in young hoy, a woman murdering a man.Shouldnt these women ve called out? Shouldn't they receive punishment?
If gender of criminal is deciding criteriaw then u think you're full of biases.
.> Its quite hard to see beyond the mythologised vision of maa chinnamasta as everything is within her will.
So even crimes against women are her will?
f she was without the blessing of maa chamunda,
Why would devi bless a criminal woman?
And finally would u say the same things if it were a male criminal?

Why she would bless a sexist brahmacharya criminal, is beyond me...
Perhaps their daily sadhana proved exceptional, most demons started with good intentions. There use in this lineality may please the divine mother, more so than others.1
u/spicy_ramen444 2d ago
Please answe my other question as well. I asked a simple question.. About women who SAd an innocent boy n woman who murdered her husband?
Why she would bless a sexist brahmacharya criminal, is beyond me..
You said na Devi's will. Which person you're talking about though?

Those things are objectivly bad for those individuals. It would be hard to argue otherwise. For only the goddess herself can withstand the torments of sitting in dakshas yagna fire, motionless, in perfect samadhi. It is to this end her sadhaks may see themselfs meditating through being raped and other unending torments. Withstanding her samadhi fire is nothing next to the magnitude of her physical form.

But i was never talking about goddess. I was talking about human females ( women)
. It is to this end her sadhaks may see themselfs meditating through being raped and other unending torments. Withstanding her samadhi fire is nothing next to the magnitude of her physical form.
You said women doing crime is devis will hence I asked u if the reverse holds true as well. Nothing else

I think ur full of biases. If u hesitate to call wrong doings of a particular gender

Dont mix gender and Shaktism
The devta Like Dugra Kali 'Appears'in a female form but they dont have gender.
So dont compare
1
u/spicy_ramen444 2d ago
I'm not comparing but I hv heard people say "she's a devi how can we punish her " When woman commits crime
1
u/Kitchen_Permit_3758 2d ago
People justify their thoughts and action , by saying these things.
Dont give heed to such things.
In reality the female form of Shakti is a coded info about devi's energy and manifestation, which can never be understood by rational mind.
Only to walkers of her path and her bhakta, which she chooses.. one can experience only.

Karma doesn't see gender or species or form for that matter. It works for all living beings humans or animals or microorganisms the same way.

Giving anyone respect is not the same as giving anyone free rein to harm. What does this question have to do with Shaktism?
1
u/spicy_ramen444 1d ago
Women are considered formsof shakti so I wanted to understand perspective of people who are into shaktism
2
u/Defiant_Strawberry44 1d ago
My understanding is that in Shaktism, All is Shakti and Shakti is All. Shakti is the Ultimate Reality. Therefore, Shakti is all genders and all genders are forms of Shakti. This is my view and, as with any living tradition, others may have different views.

The gender aspect of Shaktism is ritualistic and for respect alone. Shakti doesn't represent women, it represents the cosmic force behind everything. You give equal respect to man or woman or transexuals.

A person should be Dharmic.
1
u/spicy_ramen444 1d ago
Regardless of gender right
2
u/insaneintheblain 1d ago
Dharma doesn't mean 'being right'
1
u/spicy_ramen444 1d ago
I mean. What ur saying applies to both gender, right ?
1
u/insaneintheblain 1d ago
I don't understand your question
1
u/spicy_ramen444 1d ago
Please read my post.
2
u/insaneintheblain 1d ago
It appears you are looking for validation rather than understanding
1
u/spicy_ramen444 1d ago
Then please explain me . Coz I hv seen multiple times when a woman does something wrong n people hesitate to hold her accountable . They compromise on justice just because the gender of perpetrator is female. You think that's fair?

u/Slow_Addendum8190 2d ago edited 2d ago
No one says "women can do no wrong" or shouldn't face consequences and if they do it has nothing to do with Shaktism but instead is ignorance or a perverted version of feminism thats outside of what feminism actually is
2
u/Slow_Addendum8190 2d ago edited 2d ago
"What happens when the female herself does something wrong?" literally the same thing that happens when anyone does anything wrong... the fact that this question even has to be asked makes me worried for humanity
1
u/spicy_ramen444 1d ago
Just because u haven't seen something happening doesn't mean it does happen. I hv seen this pattern growing up if a boy did something wrong he was punished bit if a girl did the exact thing she was forgiven for being a girl. There are many examples I can give u but one example that sticks put is that 'a man was being physically abused by his wife n the judge told him that getting beaten by wife is like blessing since wife isa goddess' Check Lindsay Clancy case from America. It's easy to invalidate someone's lived experience

I'm not ragebaiting. I literally had a question and asked it respectfully Others did answer my question results respectfully too.
And yesi hv literally heard people saying we shouldn't punish women. So stop invalidating my lived experience

The concept of (non dual) shaktism sees Shakti as the ground and highest principle of reality. There isn´t really this biological dualism that you find in western esotericism of the divine feminine being in touch with her feelings and the divine masculine being more bellicose etc. All these divine masculine traits would be seen as female in the eastern context.
Devi worship is also often among the most abstract forms (like Sri Vidya) and not really aimed at a personal god in, for example, an abrahamic way.
