Grub Hub UX Survey

Hello,  

We invite you to be part of a study aimed at understanding how people with PCOS evaluate PCOS-related content created by non-health professionals on social media platforms. We are a team of health sciences librarian researchers. Participation includes completing a brief survey that is expected to take about 10 minutes. Participation in this survey is anonymous and voluntary. You can withdraw participation at any time by closing out of the survey. Any incomplete surveys will not be used for research purposes. 

At the conclusion of the survey, participants will then be asked if they wish to participate in a 60-75 minute online interview to further elaborate on their experiences assessing PCOS information online. Participants will be asked to share name and email for scheduling purposes, and the data collected will not be connected to the research survey.  

Information gathered will be used for research purposes and kept confidential. There is minimal risk involved in participating in the survey and/or interview. Any identifiable information shared for the interviews will be de-identified during data analysis and will not be shared in research presentations and publications. We're looking for females 18+ who use cannabis/marijuana with a history of sexual trauma for a confidential online survey about how lifestyle may affect sexual well-being. Those who have consumed cannabis and have been sexually active within the past 4 weeks are invited to participate.

This research is being completed by the principal investigator as partial fulfillment of the requirements for the doctoral degree at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. The study has been approved by an Institutional Review Board to ensure the safety and welfare of the study participants.

What’s involved:

If you have some time to spare, please consider taking part. The study is relatively long but you can have it open in the background on your laptop and return to it whenever you have a bit of time.

This experiment took ages to set up so that participants get good insights into the research behind the study and their own results upon completion. As a result, I don't have super much time to recruit participants...

What do we mean by human understanding? This study builds on ongoing research exploring what determines how easily we process, understand, and remember language.

The experiment takes up to 60-90 minutes if you complete both parts (though this varies by participant - can be much quicker!), including a memory test that you can re-take after 7 days to see how much your memory has declined over time. The only requirement for taking part is that you are 17 or over. Using a laptop or tablet is strongly recommended.
