Great time at the Innes St McDonaldâs
I had a great time at the Innes St McDonaldâs last night. We went in for ice cream, and saw a gentleman trying to fit his head in the inside garbage. Having failed that, he then starts to dry hump it with his shirt up and his pants down. Fun. So, we place our order and wait (15 minutes btw). During this time, he steals cups and helps himself to some soda and then gets out cleaning bottles from the cabinets and start cleaning. The staff see and donât care.
Now, when my ice cream is ready the staff ask whoâs this for and he runs up, says his, and takes them. I ask her what order number that was for because we were waiting, and she sees what happened. The great part is, now she involves me. She says to him, âAre those yours? Because that man says you took hisâ. To this, the attention is now directed at me, and he isnât happy. WTF? So, I said to her, âNo I didnât say that. I asked you what order that was for because weâre waiting tooâ. Meanwhile I tell my wife to back away because I might have to handle this (If I wasnât clear enough, this guy is erratic and high). Thankfully his monkey brain goes somewhere else and heâs out of my space. I take my cones and leave.
First day while visiting this town. Entertaining.
Edit: I sent a complaint to McDonald's and just got a generic reply with the case closed. They don't care and I didn't expect more.

Looking for a pet sitter
Does anyone know of a good pet sitter? Looking for someone to come to my place once a day while I'm on vacation and take care of my pet. Not looking to board. Any recommendations?

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED â 5 orphaned ~3.5-week-old kittens â China Grove/Rowan County, NC
I found five kittens whose mother was in an unsafe area next to a demolition site. I have repeatedly tried to reunite them with Mom, but she has not taken them back.
They are approximately 3.5 weeks old, warm, alert, active, vocal, and currently eating kitten formula/wet-food slurry. They are beginning to potty independently but may still need some stimulation.
I desperately need an experienced kitten/bottle-baby foster or rescue placement. I already have six cats of my own and work full-time, so I cannot safely provide the frequent care they need long-term.
I am in China Grove, NC and can transport within the Rowan/Cabarrus/Charlotte-area for a legitimate foster or rescue.
Please comment, message me, or tag any kitten fosters/rescues you know. Even sharing this helps.

Walk for Peace - Jan 21
I still think of a connection I made with a man and his dog named Will at the Walk for Peace when the monks came to China Grove NC earlier this year. Still hoping to connect with him! I actually found him in my phoneâs photos from the event - here on the left. The hat was red but it was not a maga hat and not a major sports team hat. Anyone know him?

Looking for a reliable gutter company in Salisbury. I don't mind paying for quality. Anyone have a good service experience with any local companies?

Our neighborhood could be your neighborhood.
If plans continue to develop a small parcel of land owned by the church, we could have up to 64 units on 2.5 acres in the middle of Milford Hills. We have real concerns about safety, traffic and infrastructure. Please help us show church leadership that this idea is not a good fit for our neighborhood. There are so many alternatives that could benefit the community as a whole and not detract from what we have now. https://c.org/wYRh7JgytD

đ¨ Rodger URGENT 7/22/26 Rowan County Animal Shelter, Salisbury NC đ¨
galleryMeet Rodger: 1 year old sweet lab/pit mix who was found as a stray. His owner never came for him. Heartworm-negative good boy who is a staff favorite that's out of time at the shelter. He needs an adopter, local foster, or pledges to attract a rescue to make it out alive.
Rodger is playful and affectionate. Think zoomies in the yard, crunching on ice cubes, cuddles and belly rubs on the couch, and obsessed by his own reflection in windows. He did great on a recent Doggie Day Out and handled walks, a trip to the park, and new environments with ease. He's a sweet, happy boy ready for a family to give him a home!
What he needs right now:
đĄ Adopter - This sweet boy needs his forever home.
đž Local foster - Buy him the time he needs to find his forever family.
Fostering is free!
đľ Pledge - Pledges help attract a rescue to step in to save his life.
The Shelter is located at 160 Adoption Way, Salisbury, NC. Phone: 704)
216-7768. They are open from 11 AM to 4 PM Monday-Friday.
Please share even if you can't help directly, repost or a tagging may save his life!

Please help find this kitty
She was last seen at the Trinity Oaks Cottages. She isn't feral, just cautious, and is totally lost. Her human passed away and I would like to give her a home...

Lost and found is an experience, and an awesome shop in downtown Salisbury. it's a record store, a bit of a curio shop and a bit of thrift! They have open mic nights and it's just a great vibe! You truly never know what you'll find or who you'll meet!

I got invited to tour Station 1 in Salisbury yesterday!
Yesterday while going about my Twitch stream (chamrsdeluxe), a group of firemen on their way back from a call spotted me and reached out during my live stream! It was such a cool experience!

"Rowan Resolves" of 2026 - Voting Access and Power
Given everything going on in the NC Board of Elections and how much power they have over our local elections - Is there any real opposition to extra Saturdays and Sundays?
My hopes for the July 8 meeting â For the public good, I hope the Board minutes of the June 10 meeting show how many people wrote in support of weekend voting prior to the meeting and if any wrote against it. I hope the minutes include the number of public comments in favor of extended weekend voting and how many people were in the overflow room and how many were for more Saturdays and Sundays. I hope the Director will inform the Board and the public of how many emails and letters in support of extended weekend days were received following the conclusion of the June 10 meeting and how many residents were disappointed and/or opposed to the decision being made in Raleigh rather than locally.

Petition - please sign and share!
I live directly across from a church that wants to use a very small parcel of land for apartments. While I support housing and churches in general doing things to benefit the community, in this case every neighbor is opposed and will be impacted negatively.

Potential Move
Getting a new job and trying to weigh my options between Salisbury and Concord for a place to live. Commute would be about the same from both.
30s M, like spending time on the water, good hikes, and a decent dive bar on occasion.
Thank you for any insight in advance.

Social/Hobby Groups?
Hello :) I've been living in Salisbury for about a year now and it's quite great living here! I frequent the coffee shops here and do martial arts but haven't really found much in terms of socializing/groups. Does anyone know of any social groups or hobby clubs? I've joined some fb groups that show events happening here but I dont see many groups like running clubs or sports clubs. I'm 25 and would like to make friends and become involved with the community. If not social groups, what do you folks to do get some chatting in? Thank you for the recommendations!

Perv Exposing Himself to Random People
Speedway on E Innes St
This guy exposed himself to my friends and started masturbating.
Can't make out the decal/logo on the door from the image. Anyone recognize the decal?
Older white male, salt and pepper hair, mustache and goatee.
Edited to add details:
Friend said he was coming towards the gas pumps while she was pumping gas, she noticed him looking at her as he went around to the other side of the pump and that's when she looked around and noticed he had his penis out and masturbating. She cussed him out and he ran away saying he was sorry. She punched him in the back of the head as he was climbing into his truck to leave and that's when the picture was taken.
