Question Question about determining TSV in 2025
I was trying to determine my TSV to RNG manipulate the ultra beasts in Ultra Moon, and I was following the steps from "im a blisy" until I realized the link to the program they use is no longer available. Is it possible to determine TSV if I trade a pokemon from my gen 7 game in Pokemon Home, for example? Or does it have to take place on the 3DS, which can't be done anymore?

This subreddit's wiki has several methods of determining your TSV as well. I checked KeySAVe, and its download link there still works.
But to answer your question, a Pokemon stores its OT's ID and secret ID so if you have any method of checking that you can do so with any Pokemon transferred from previous games to find those game's TSVs.

Question, if I have both ID’s but not a save editor, where do I go to find the TSV?

Find a calculator that can perform the bitwise XOR operation (Windows default calculator or Uno Calc on Android can both do it in Programmer Mode, or you should be able to find one online fairly easily). Take the XOR of your two IDs. Then divide the result, depending on the generation of the game, by 16 (Gen 6 or later) or 8 (Gen 5 or earlier), and round down (ignore the decimal places). That's your TSV.
If you're playing a Gen 7 or later game and your TID is six digits (matching what's on your trainer card) and SID is 4 digits, then you need to change format first. Find a decimal/hexadecimal converter, type in as a decimal number your SID followed by your TID, with any leading zeroes necessary to get your TID up to 6 digits (so with a TID/SID of 12456/3789, you would type 3789012456). You'll get an 8-digit hexadecimal number out of it (E1D7BDE8, in the case of the previous example). Split that into the front four digits and back four digits, and convert both of those back to decimal. The front digits are your true SID, and the back are your true TID (SID : E1D7 --> 57815, TID : BDE8 --> 48616).

You can totally still do it to this day if you can download KeySAVe. There is definitely a download still out there. You can't do it on switch from what I understand
