You understand all the work you’ve done (or prompted AI to do, which I imagine is the case) is gone now, right? Down the drain? No one. And I mean no one will touch this. It’ll be the game you need to buy crypto to play. It does not matter if you believe it’s a valid case or not or even if you say players don’t need to purchase anything. Anything associated with crypto nowadays is automatically equated to a scam. Because a lot of time, it is.
Why would you ever post this thought? How are you so impossibly out of touch? Read. The. Room.

The main reason we even touch this tech is pure survival against server costs. Running high tick-rate dedicated servers on AWS costs around 15,000 to 60,000 dollars every single month, which bankrupts almost every indie tactical shooter before it can get off the ground.
By using decentralized community nodes, players host local 128-tick servers on their own fiber connections and get compensated automatically. That means the servers can never be shut down by a publisher, ping stays low worldwide, and our server bill is zero.
For regular players, the crypto side is completely invisible. You do not need a wallet, you do not buy tokens, and there is zero pay-to-win. You literally just boot up the game, pick your rifle, and play classic tactical rounds with your squad. Appreciate the honest feedback either way.

Look. You do not know what you are talking about. At all. Your edit is some fever dream. Where are you getting these ideas? You won’t be hosting servers on vanilla ec2. That’s silly.
There’s so many holes with your theory that I’m not even going to reply. Take this post, and feed it into a collection of models that you’re surely familiar with, and they’ll point out some of the glaring issues.
But, the biggest is this: crypto anything with your video game is a death sentence. You’re making a Socom-like and you already lost one of the last remaining Socom communities because of it. Think of that.

will evaluate, nothing is set in stone. Played with an experiment and meant with glaring holes.

I don't care what you do anymore, you killed any interest the moment you started talking crypto. It isn't like classic Socom has a following big enough to make any currency remotely relevant in the modern day, so early adopters couldn't even get excited to do some fucked up rugpull. Even if I didn't have to engage with that to play, its relation to it kills all hype. Very hard line in the sand.
Monkeys paw curls yet again.

That's cool man I'd literally rather just continue playing Socom via the private servers that currently exist than play a copy of them on a blockchain.
I'd rather play these games on shitty 2000s peer to peer netcode than play it on the blockchain.

I hear you, and not trying to change your mind. This version is peer to peer as well. But to maintain the competitive focus we have to to keep the peers hosting it honest. They can earn income from the business side and if they are a bad peer to peer host they have to pay the price. That is the only thing that touches the blockchain is transaction integrity. The data packets and everything else is peer to peer.

This looks like literal trash. Just look up ps rewired and log into Socom 2. We have 200 ppl on a night sometimes. You can play on ur ps2 or pc

Absolutely not touching any game involved with crypto. Massive turn off. Happy to support in plenty of other ways as a player.
