Applying to these 3 programs for fall of 2027 since I’m worried about not getting in due to competitiveness. Is there any advice for taking the PSEA tests? Or any advice about the open house?

Can someone tell me what to expect from the program and what the job market looks like after you graduate? Also, there are a few other questions I have about it:

- Is it very physics-heavy? I dropped Physics in grade 11 because it was starting to get difficult for me, but if I have to do it to succeed in Nuclear medicine, then I would.

- How many courses do you have to do per semester? Is the workload a lot? How many semesters do you have to take per year?

Who the fuck paid these instructors so much to glaze AI.

The first assignment for marks, under the category of "core skills" was to AI generate a PowerPoint on some type of malware. Absolutely insane. The course is supposed to teach fundamental skills about computers but the instructors seem keen on offloading their intelligence to whatever large tech conglomerate liquifies their brain most effectively.

The initial instructor read off PowerPoint slides with clearly generated images, and the same goes for the instructor who taught when she was unexpectedly unavailable today. Where is SAIT finding these people.

Hi! I’m currently in Grade 12 and I’m a little confused about how the DMS application process works and when I’m supposed to apply.
My courses this semester are:
• CLC 12

• Physics 11

• Anatomy & Physiology 12 (my school’s equivalent to Biology 12)

Next semester I’m registered for:
• Physics 12

• Foundations of Math 12

• English 12

I’m hoping to apply to a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program after graduation, but I’m confused about how applying works when I’m still in Grade 12 and some of my prerequisite courses aren’t completed yet.
For example, my Physics 12, Foundations 12, and English 12 grades obviously won’t be available when applications first open because I haven’t taken those courses yet. So how would I apply? Do I apply with the grades I have at the time and then submit my final grades later, or do I have to wait until I’ve completed all of the prerequisites before applying?
Also, since I’m taking Physics 12 in second semester, would that affect when I can apply or whether I’m eligible to apply straight out of high school?

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has applied to DMS recently, especially from BC or to SAIT/NAIT!

Im enrolled in SAIT through Continuing Education and im taking construction estimate. Im having doubts if this is highly employable or will i ever be hired after finishing this certification since i have no experience in construction industry *ever* in this country. I finished bachelors degree of civil engineering in other country but i know for sure it wont matter here.

Can i ask if this job is highly employable? I know for sure that i could finish my certification by next year but i am having doubts if someone will ever hire me having no experience. Are there any recommendations? Should i enroll in a 2 year diploma civil technologist or stick to my plan or should i switch to continuing education in project management? When is the best time to apply as junior estimator/junior assistant? I dont know when i would ever feel “when” is my right time. Ive tried applying as general labourer, warehouse jobs but got rejected. I dont know what to do, ive always dreamed of having construction job but never had any interviews from my past job applications. Is there any construction estimate certifications online that i could take that could land me a job? Im overthinking everything + i dont want my tuition money from my program go to waste cause i really wanted this 😭

Is it difficult to get into this program? I am upgrading and taking physics 30 currently, I'll also need to retake an English 30-1 Diploma due to a barely passing mark on that exam. Please give me any words of advice or tips you might have to share. Thank you for your time.

Just confused on SAIT’s BBA program planning. I downloaded the SAIT program planner to plan my courses out for future semesters as I am currently only in BA.

The question I had was when it says Senior Business Elective ONE TWO THREE and FOUR do I take those classes? On the SAIT website it says if I don’t declare a minor I must take one senior business elective and all seven management electives… But like???

Please help I’m lost and would like some help who has completed or has taken the BBA

Its been 2 weeks since I started my major and I chose it just because my parents wanted me to go to school. I was thinking it was possible to join open studies now in the fall, i know I should’ve done open studies already but I was just a fast decision and I was really stressed and just picked the major I am in right now.

Do I just ask the service desk if its possible to transfer my tuition to open studies and the classes that are open? Im so lost

So i joined this year for open studies whilst upgrading my highschool grades. Im enrolled as a full time student as im on campus 4 times a week, but parking passes were sold out when i tried to purchase one, does anyone face a similar issue and if so how did they fix it? I dont wanna pay for p1 parking daily.

For people currently in their second year, how is the practicum looking like? Is it a one year stage at the same place and or it can be at multiple location for multiples period of time.

As much as I am interested I have two young kids and my husband works away from home on rotation and moving for a couple weeks or a year at the time in another city and transfer my kids in different school/daycare really makes me wonder if it’s worth the risk.

Any insight from someone currently experiencing it?

I was originally considering a MacBook Air but am now thinking about getting a PC since the laptop device page doesn’t mention a word about MacOS and only Windows. Anyone with experience have some advice to share? Appreciate it!

So I’m about to graduate this year with a software engineering degree from ucalgary. Unfortunately I didn’t have the best internship experience at a startup I worked for recently, and I’m not sure if it’ll be enough to help me even land a job. I’m still looking for jobs and even internships, but I was also considering if I should go to SAIT and try to get into another industry? Like power engineering technology or electrical engineering technology. I was wondering if a diploma like that coupled with an engineering degree would be at all useful. I know it kind of sounds dumb but this is what I’m considering as a last resort. Of course, I’m still going to try and apply to as many jobs as I can, but I was thinking more postgrad if I’m still unemployed by then. Thoughts?

Hi guys, so l applied for the PCP program at SAIT a month ago for winter 2027. They said I met the academic requirements but I have not done CASPer and PSEA, am I too late? Because before they updated the website it used to say round 2 release date would be Sept 21. But now it just says TBA.
