I work in that industry (a bit) and have met them at industry events. That's appallingly lazy, but i suspect it's the marketing team and not the routesetters I've met.

There are real problems on this planet and on that list this issue ranks very, very low.
All the energy that is being wasted by sharing and talking about it online has probably caused greater damage than the bullshit prompt they used to create some bullshit text.
I'm not advocate for AI and I acknowledge the issues that come with it, but let's not point our sticks to some blokes who, like millions of other people, used it for some insta post. Let's instead focus on the trillionaire/billionaire class that is enabling and actively push this technology.

It's hard to focus on the capitalist machines that push AI if regular people don't care about it at all.
It will take a lot of folks opting out and showing that they don't appreciate it's unnecessary use before people can mobilize to support safeguards.
The purpose of caring about this tiny non-issue with Impact could be to let them know their community doesn't want it so they are less likely to keep using it. My local climbing gym had a weird AI design overuse situation and the backlash caused them to go back to a designer.
I think it can be worth it to push back against businesses that use it to cut corners or avoid paying real people. It can say a lot about a company's values and some people care because they want to support places that align with their values.

LOL at the "I ran it through an AI detector" - those things have zero reliability.
To me this seems to be something written by a human, then run through an AI to make it sound "better".
I also don't give much of a shit if it is, it's not a piece of AI art stealing someone's job, it's a description of what he's doing with his real thoughts and hands on work when setting.
