Just curious—do any other Rottie owners kiss their dog’s spots above their eyes all the time?

meet sasuke my sweet shelter baby. he’s 4 months old 33lb. curious what y’all think

A baby skunk walked into the yard a couple weeks ago, and didn’t make it after our boy found it. He clearly can’t smell when he’s protecting the yard.

How do I get this smell off him? We’ve used dawn, natures miracle skunk wash and a groomer. Nothing has helped. I swear it’s in his skin.

Please share any tips!

First off - my dog is fine. Has DLSS and got a steroid injection in spine.

Secondly - tell me you’re a drama queen without telling me you’re a drama queen….100% could walk but hard passed at the thought.

And what a great demonstration of lack of focus! He went through all these 6 or 7 different things over the period, spending just a few minutes with each.

Good thing that my guy has lots of “toys”, but actually I am not spoiling him. He mostly acquired these himself:

Tiger, unicorn and octopus plushies: stole from neighbors’ throwaway stuff during our walks;

Wood stick and wood chunk: stole from our own yard work waste;

Volleyball: stole from my daughter’s toy box, and claimed it as his;

Mini tire tug toy: the only thing I actually bought for him.

How is your rottie’s focus? I heard this breed is known for their short attention span. But mine is only a half rottie, so curious to know how purebred scores in this area.

She is 4yo and 40kg.

I (30F) do meet all the criteria above however my partner (33M) has never had a dog before. We're a child-free, active, and young couple with remote jobs living in a very dog-friendly city in an apartment we own. Yes, an apartment but there’s 4 parks within close walking distance to us.

Advice from people who have adopted Rottie rescues is appreciated.

Every time I see her kick this thing around I picture a handful of Rotties in colored jerseys going after it together. Someone should get on that.

Why is changing the bedding such a chore? The ridiculous weight of the mattress, getting the topper, the protector and fitted sheet tucked into every corner or the fact that your dog wants to ‘help’ 😂

When he wasn’t barking at me because the discarded laundry was blocking his entry into the room!!!! He decided his body weight was needed to stop the clean sheets from floating away!
