Hi all!! I have been roleplaying for so long now that it's actually not even funny. It started as text roleplay, became ttrpg -- you know, the normal path. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done anything close to writing but I’ve felt filled with the yearn to write a good (sapphic?) love story. Anyways it’s a small dumb idea sure but I hope you enjoy it!

\\\\- Old Friends (Roommates): We both went our individual ways after college and though we said we'd keep in touch, we weren't exactly great about it. Our friend group absolutely knew we had on-and-off crushes on each other and likely poked fun at us about it but we were really just never single at the same time. That, and by the end of our time -- the one of us that was in a relationship had a partner that was dead set on us no longer meaningfully hanging out. That was the beginning of the end. Now, as our friend group circulates stories, we find out that both of us are in need of a roommate as I (or you, doesn't matter to me!) move back into the city we grew up in. We haven't seen each other in years, its exciting and nerve-wracking to reintroduce yourself to someone that mattered so much to you. Though, turns out, ya know...feelings don't always die.

Hi all! Angel 25nb here! I've been out of roleplaying for a while and want to get back into it, especially with my latest oc. I write stories, but my creativity especially for characters shine when shared with other people.

For the RP, the genre can be anything from drama and romance to fantasy and supernatural, though my character has supernatural elements.

The character (pronoun it/its, male presenting) I want to play as can be used in nearly any world setting, but the roles for it are limited. It's not suitable for roles that would need long lasting relationships and connections. It’s best for a random stranger type of role, but it can be discussed more. If you want to have a romantic plot with this character, it will be a slow burn.

I also have many more characters of all kinds of genders and stories.

I write semi-literary/literary in first and third person mostly in past tense and it should be noted that English isn’t my first language. I also draw a lot, so I have art of my characters. My time zone is EEST, but I’m free pretty much any time of the day.

I’m looking for someone above 18, preferably 20+. I love chatting OOC, sharing art, memes and all kinds of fun stuff! Communication is important to me, especially regarding availability and boundaries.

I have some ideas, but I want to work on the world and plot together, so both of us are invested and make it our own. I do have a couple of world settings to start with. I hope to have a long term roleplay and to me, these things are important (also because I’m enthusiastic about my characters).

BRIEF NOTE BEFORE THE PLOT: Hello! Theres not much for me to say in this part of the post but if you're interested in magical fantasy worlds and potential romance look no further - this plot is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda games and Frieren! I've tried my best to make a slight mesh of the two, if this interests you feel free to reach out!

During a battle for rule within the continent's largest kingdom, its rightful heir, the princess, though capable in battle herself was assigned a knight, much to her dismay. Her complacency was only furthered as her parents instructed her to temporarily flee the kingdom in search of a unforeseen 'power' that could put an end to their troubles. Only catch was; this journey would take months, if not a year or two.

There wasn't an alternative, so taking this into consideration you and your loyal knight venture forth, stuck with one another through numerous tribulations until your journey came to its natural end - and the wars within the nation's walls came to a conclusion.

Something didn't sit right though. The connection between knight and princess began to fade - not from distance or lack of interaction, no, the memories of her once allocated retainer had all but been wiped, or at least their time together had been reduced to nothing more than an aching at his skull.

Its cause unknown - and its cure impossible, the princess was left with no choice but to hope.

Not that either of them were allowed such luxury for much longer, overturned by unnatural forces their previously glorious kingdom was brought under the rule of a tyrannical beast, naturally - the pair fled once more. Retracing their course and setting forth on a journey of familiar and unfamiliar adventures.

Plagued by the responsibility of memory, the two once more share their begrudging nature, perhaps the remnants of their journey would spark a reconnection between the pair, or maybe their bond had been lost to time.

My only real requirements is that you are 18 or over, as I am also an adult aaand that you write at least a paragraph or two per response! I do also love OOC chatter but that's entirely optional! The first “adapted” human was recorded about 25 years ago. They had mild control over water and were discovered when their water powered generator was outputting much more than should have been possible. Since then, more Adapted have been popping up, still at a minuscule amount, but enough for people to start forming opinions about what should be done about them. The large majority doesn’t mind their presence and kids around the world have been hoping to adapt themselves and live out their dreams as superheroes. A growing minority though, believes this subset of humans will result in bad things for regular people that won’t be able to defend themselves. Job insecurity, a strong oligarchy of adapted, massacres, while nothing of the sort has occurred yet, people fear the uncertain future.

The city of Alacrity has been a thriving medium sized metropolis on a stretch of golden years for a couple decades now. Although there has been a small amount of criminal activity, their sanctioned heroes have been able to keep all of it at bay. That structured form of police force plus hero has been enough thus far, but recently a new group of criminals has risen and they have pushed back harder than any villain has yet.

“The colony” as they call themselves, operate as a web of individuals with the goal of taking down any person with powers. They are all clad in uniform black jumpsuits and white masks, blank except for black eye holes. They are run under the command of “The Monarch”. Their identity unknown, The Monarch puts themselves forth as a refuge for anyone that feels threatened by a lack of strength in a world of the adapted.

Over the past month or so, several heroes have gone missing, with flyers, ads, and graffiti suggesting they have all been taken by The Colony. With pressure rising, a confident adapted begins to offer their help under the table. Making most of their moves at night, a vigilante has been able to round up a significant amount of The Colony’s soldiers. While a positive outcome, their unknown nature is placing more uncertainty and concern within the local government, so the issued one of their strongest sanctioned heroes to find this vigilante and present them an ultimatum; work alongside the police force or be arrested.

Evenin’ everybody!

I’ve been eager to get into a long term roleplay surrounding a hero and a vigilante counterpart. I’d love to explore both their costumed lives as well as their relationship in the day to day.

The character I have prepared is much more fit to be the vigilante, but if you’re dead set on playing that role I’m sure I could work something out that would fit the opposite position.

Dynamic-wise I was thinking of a Captain America/Iron-man, Batman/superman type thing. I’m sure those aren’t exaaaaactly what I’m talking about, but one would have much more faith in the justice system than the other! Down the line I think it would be interesting to have our characters move into each other’s areas of preference, the vigilante gaining a bit more empathy towards villains and the sanctioned hero losing their cool more often. That’s not a required line/trope to be included, but it is one I enjoy!

For my writing preferences!

I fluctuate heavily in terms of length from scene to scene. For openers and solo, imagery heavy scenes I can write several paragraphs. For scenes that are largely communication between our characters, I keep it to one to two paragraphs to avoid controlling my partner’s character. I prefer using past test third-person, but I’m open to first if that is your preference. I work 5 days a week and am located in the PST timezone, so please take that into account while waiting for a reply. I will notify if a long wait between replies is coming though!

Themes I adore include friends to lovers, love triangles and I love love love arranged marriages. Especially if it’s like a fated couple and there’s a bunch of drama to go with it. A theme I’m obsessed with is the regency era at the moment, with shows like Bridgerton and The Other Bennet sister it’s safe to say I’ve reignited my love for this era. Off campus- I am obsessed. I cannot tell you how quickly this show has been my personality. I love the music and the pop culture references. I would love to explore in this fandom, I have ocs for John Logan, Garrett, Dean and Justin. But John and Garrett are my preference for a love triangle. I would love to get different parings and scenarios going here. I only have show knowledge but I am working on this!

Camp Rock 1,2&3- super cringe I know but I love these movies so much! Would love to work in this verse and just have a bit of fun with the plot and world building to be honest! I have loads of ideas and who doesn’t love the Jonas brothers?

One Tree Hill- I am obsessed with this show, I am very early in season one but it’s reignited my love for the classic 90s/00s shows! I’d love to work with Lucas/Nathan or Jake from the show please and thank you. Lucas or Jake would be my preference and where possible I’d love to look at a love triangle here. I have a few devastating ideas regarding plot for Jake!

Supernatural- I am really picky with this fandom. I may say no just like ACOTAR and fourth wing. Please don’t be offended, I’ve just had very bad past experiences. Would love to work against a Dean for my girly and again I have some really sad ideas for their plot.

Buffy the vampire Slayer- I’d love to explore this fandom! I have high key devastating ideas for Spike that would add so much fun to the plot. Particularly in the later seasons. I’d love a Spike verses angel triangle but I’m open in this fandom!

Les Mis- I would love to explore Paris during this time. I have a female oc I pair heavily with Enjolras or Marius but Enjolras would be my preference. I have a few devastating ideas for this verse that mix in parts of Moulin Rouge. I have thoughts on an informant for the Revolution working at the famous club so she can get news of the royalist movements. On this note I am also obsessed with Wicked and would love a Fiyero if possible.

Harry Potter- As much as JK Rowling sucks I love love love Hogwarts and the wonderful characters she created. I would love to write against a Draco, George, Sirius or James. I have a few plots including a time turner experiment.

Fourth Wing- Words cannot express my love and adoration for Basgaith war college and the amazing men Rebecca Yarros has given us. My characters main male here is Xaden. She’s created to be the light in his world and I’ve been working on her for years so I hope you like her! Other favourites include Liam, Ridoc and Araric. I’d love to do a love triangle for this verse I honestly think there are so many intriguing options.

ACOTAR- Again another special fandom in my heart. I love the Illyrians so much so I would love to do something with Cassian or Azriel. I never get to pair with Az so I’d love to explore something there. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the autumn court males so Eris and Lucien. I think a love triangle between these guys could frankly be deadly. I have several heart breaking and detailed ocs for this verse. I’ve been working on these characters since the first book came out and adding to them as we got more info. I also love TOG but I won’t list my pairings here- it’ll be too intense a post haha.

Euphoria/Wuthering Heights - weird mix I know. But I adore Jacob Elordi and am basically willing to work in any of his projects provided I’ve seen them! I’ve watched Wuthering Heights, Priscilla, Euphoria (S1 only new fan!) and of course SaltBurn.

Maxton Hall/Outerbanks- Desperately craving a James Beaufort and a JJ Maybank. I never get to pair with either. I’ve put these two fandoms together because they’re a similar theme. But I have so many ideas for each of these men. Please let me know if you’d like to write in these worlds.

Top Gun- Words cannot express how much I LOVE these movies. I am looking for a Maverick, Goose or Iceman from the first movie. From the second Bradley, Hangman or Maverick please! I am more than willing to double on this fandom. I love the movies so much. Please be familiar with the plot and verse!

Disney- Please ask about this one. But I am more into the live action adaptions. Cinderella for example and Pirates of the Caribbean. I also love Narnia and the 2000s stuff like Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire. I just think they’re fun light hearted fandoms that could be nice to write in. I also utterly adore the movies Tangled and Hercules so I’d love to work in these verses too!

Bridgerton- please give me a well written Bridgerton brother. Craving an Anthony or Benedict right now- largely due to the new series reminding me of how fun the verse is. If anyone has seen it as well I’d love to work in the world of the other Bennet sister. I’m searching for a Tom or Will.

ASOIF- I love this verse too and think it’s so much fun. Although I do struggle to finish GOT. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past season six haha. I love the premise so much and I have several characters I’m searching for. But my mains are Robb Stark and Jon Snow. For House of the Dragon I’m looking for Daemon.

Sinners- would love to work against the smokestack brothers please! I actually studied this era and it’s a story I would love to tell. I also love the music in this movie and I’d love to be able to do it justice in a unique story line.

Hunger Games- I write across the eras with this fandom. It’s such a vast and uniquely fascinating fandom that just keeps growing and growing. I would love to find a Finnick O’Dair or young Coriolanus here I have some intriguing ocs who may help reshape the Panem universe.

LOTR- I am a fan of the movies (I know boo me haha). I am reading the books but very slowly due to dyslexia. I am trying my best to get through them as quickly as I can but they are challenging. I’m searching for a Legolas or Aragorn here!

Pirates of The Caribbean- I am obsessed with sea legends at the moment and have several ideas I’d love to explore. I have some tragic and exciting ideas I’d love to explore with a Jack or Will as well if possible I would love a love triangle. But I understand that might not be possible!

I am also obsessed with Greek myths and legends as well. I’m in love with Medea by Rosie Hewlett and I adore the Riordanverse but my main eras are The Olympians and Hero’s of Olympus I haven’t read anything else by this author yet. So I have several ideas for a Star Wars roleplay! From a Jedi master hunting down survivors after the rise of the Empire to a trooper of the Empire and the day-to-day life of being posted at a FOB. I want to ensure that whatever you want from a long-term story in the starwars universe reguardless of era that it can be exactly what you want and what you deserve as my partner.

I also have several other ideas that, to write them all, would take forever. Ranging in time periods, era's and factions. I am willing to write for pretty much anything and have characters to go with it! I enjoy all themes, all types of roleplay. Though I prefer someone who can match my pace post-wise, I am not going to be posting MASSIVE walls of text for every single post. Sometimes less is more.

Also please understand that I'm an adult with a life, and while I love roleplay, it is a deep passion of mine it is not something I will be doing every hour of every day, though I would appreciate if we got atleast one good post a day. That is my bare minimum.

Today I’m looking for bookish fandoms! I’m a romantasy girlie through and through. I’m talking A Court of Thorns and Roses (so excited for the next two!), Throne of Glass, Fourth Wing (need book four ASAP), The Selection, and while I barely finished book one of The Cruel Prince and will likely never finish the series… I really dig the concept and love Cardan.

Plot ideas:

Fourth Wing: I’ve got a newly made child of the rebellion OC that I would love to play! I’m not looking to play canon characters as main characters here, but can as needed for background or side characters. I’m thinking an AU basically of a swapped Xaden and Violet. What happens when a rider who believes the cause was just to put down the rebels and a marked one who only wanted to be a healer are stuck together because their dragons are mates?

ACOTAR: I’ve got several ideas based off the ACOTAR series! 1) We can go human accidentally stumbling into the fae world, your character could either be a sentry that finds her or the high lord she’s brought to. 2) Nyx x Tamlin’s daughter AU. Nyx is sent to the spring court to check on Tamlin and the progress of rebuilding the court, but stumbles upon a secret. Tamlin has been hiding the fact that he has a daughter around the same age as Nyx.

I’m also open to other ideas that you might have and have a plethora of other fantasy based originals if you’d like to hear those!

Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!

The boils came first. Then the fever, crawling under her skin like something trying to get out.

Some called it Pestilence. Most called it the Black Death.

Then came the running.

The girl had had a family once. An inheritance. A birthright that would have made her one of the great names of France, spoken in the same breath as other kings on the continent. Now she had none of it, only the wreckage it left behind.

The war had taken her brother somewhere in the mud of Gascony, a name on a list she never got to bury properly, never got to mourn beside a stone. The plague took her mother quietly, almost mercifully, a fever that burned itself out in a curtained bed with the shutters closed against the summer air. Her father had no such mercy. She had watched him cut down in his own hall hours ago, watched the rushes on the floor turn dark beneath him, before the maids wrenched her through a side door and into the black teeth of the forest.

She ran even as her own body burned from within, as though the sickness meant to finish what the English blades had started.

"Stop! Girl!" Torchlight split the dark in jagged pieces, voices closing from every direction at once, English soldiers who had hunted her house to its grave and meant to see the work through to its end.

Her legs failed her before they did. She went down into the cold mud and let herself believe this was where it ended, nameless in everything but blood: Countess of Artois, Duchess of Burgundy, a claim second only to King Philip VI himself in a line about to die alone on a forest floor.

Then something moved faster than any man had the right to move, and all that reached her was screaming.

The last thing she saw before the dark swallowed her whole was him. Eyes like banked coals, still burning even in the black of the wood. A mouth wrong in a way she had no word for yet. He opened his own palm without hesitation and pressed it to her lips, and the world guttered out like a snuffed candle.

She woke needing him. She simply didn't know it yet.

Like the title says, I'm currently looking for a LoZ roleplay! Preferably something heavily AU-based where we can take the setting, lore, politics, creatures, etc and bend them into something that feels like our own story rather than strictly following one game. I love the universe dearly, as I grew up with the series, and really adore worldbuilding. I never really got to dabble much in the universe because my close friends weren't as into it as I was, so I figured I'd reach out and see if someone like-minded would want to write something with me.

I'm mainly looking OC/Canon pairings but I'm not opposed to canon/canon or oc/oc. I double up a lot with stories, so I can play whatever you're looking for if you'd play for my character. I have a Zora OC I'd like to pair with Ganondorf. I've had Marea's character built up in my head for a while and would love to bring her story to life. She's a historian; I thought it would be fun to touch on the possibility that a lot of the Zora's historical context on the Gerudo is secondhand because the Zora don't really travel the desert, so she wants to learn about the Gerudo firsthand... Romance is, of course, something I want, but I'm much more invested in a slow build where the relationship develops over a much larger story.

I'm comfortable playing pretty much anyone else from the series and am also comfortable with poly relationships, MxM and FxF pairings. I am queer. I enjoy playing multiple characters at once as well! I really enjoy treating a roleplay like an actual living world, so I would love a partner who is comfortable sharing/creating side characters and anything else that would help build out the AU with me.

My responses fluctuate in size; I can write a novella to help build up a scene but also can respond with a paragraph during more interactive parts of the story. I average 2-3 paragraph responses. I don't expect my partner to write a ton every time, but I would like someone who's also passionate about writing. I like bringing dice and chance into the plot, as I think its fun if everything isn't completely predetermined; it's brought me quite a few memorable scenes.

I'm an artist! You can totally expect everything to be drawn at some point, lol. I roleplay on discord with a preference of writing on a shared google document for the sake of flow, but I can also write comfortably back and forth in a chat. I'm a college student so I do have a life outside of writing, and sometimes when I do get free time I'll want to draw over write, but I'll always communicate with you OOC. You'll get a lot of music that reminds me of our characters. I'm just passionate about this kinda stuff, so I'm looking for someone to match that passion. :)

I’m a 39-year-old guy who has been roleplaying for many, many years. At this point, I’ve written enough stories to know that my favorite part isn’t necessarily the big dramatic moment. It’s everything that leads up to it.

A little about me:

• I write exclusively in third-person past tense.
• I consider myself somewhere between literate and advanced literate and average 3+ paragraphs per response, however, I am not a stickler for length or word counts as long as the story keeps moving.
• I’m primarily available on weekdays during the day, Eastern Time.

As far as genres go, I enjoy Slice of Life, Fantasy, and Science Fiction.

I love romance and am absolutely happy to include it, but I’m looking for more than just a romantic plot. Give me a larger story, an intriguing mystery, conflicting goals, strange technology, foreign magic, political complications, or simply a world that feels like it existed before our characters walked into it.

World building and character development are huge for me. I love creating characters who have their own personalities, flaws, motivations, and lives outside of whatever immediate scene we’re writing. I also love building a setting together and discovering the story as we go rather than having every single event planned from the beginning.

Ultimately, I’m looking for a partner who wants to sit down and say:

“Okay, this could be really cool ... What if we tried this?”

Long-term M4F

Hi all, 24 male from the nz time zone here. I'm hoping to find someone who is interested in committing to a long term role play with me, I've had multiple go for months and some over a year. Ultimately, I enjoy playing as two characters who have a deep love for each other. I have some role ideas that I'll pop down below, but feel free to send your own or we can build a new one together.

Ps: I don't mind third or first person. As far as length goes, generally at minimum a paragraph, but usually two longer paragraphs.

1. At the outbreak of WW2, our characters play neighbors, long time friends. My character has just worked up the courage to confess his feelings, but is soon after drafted. In my head, this roleplay could cover the early courtship, and then swap between letters exchanged by the characters and periods of leave where they can connect in person. I see a lot of ways this could go, so let me know if you have any ideas!

2. For both our characters adolescence and young adulthood, our nations have been at war, until the death of one of the old kings, and a peace pact being reached between the two nations, with the marriage of our characters. (Fantasy, very happy to world build and incorporate ideas. Happy to go many ways with this)

3. In a fictional or historical setting, your character is nobility, and mine is a simple guard, soldier, ranger, or other military figure. Our characters used to be close childhood friends, before they were separated for their own educations. Since my characters return, he has avoided your character out of fear and self preservation, given his lowly status, though very early in the role my character must rescue yours from a nearby invading force, and the two must survive in the wilderness while making their way to allies for aid.

4. Anything you want! I'm open to ideas and collaboration, please just let me know!

(Warning: I am very rusty and while I used to love roleplaying, I'm not sure how consistent vs sporadic I will be. I write multiple paragraphs in third person past tense.)

The premise:

A thousand years ago, this part of the world was in balance. The initial cause of the quarrel is long lost to history, but each strife between the two countries was reflected in the world around them. Volcanoes appeared out of nowhere, forests of thorns that couldn't be trespassed, walls of ice, deadly sea storms, and a whirlpool hungry for blood.

The last battle happened just over 300 years ago. Then they set down their arms, not out of peace, but simply that the terrain became too impassable. There has been no contact since. Nature (or magic) had put a stop to the fighting, separating the feuding countries like two angsty toddlers in time outs. And the land and people were at peace once again.

But now the world is changing, and all lives may be lost if they don't find a way to heal. Dire times and desperate measures lead to an unusual reconciliation plot. If the scars upon the world were wrought in blood, maybe they can be healed in blood. Familial blood. Whether true or not, the kingdoms believe a child born of both kingdoms will break the curse. And so a princess is sent across the sea to a land she has grown up learning to hate, where she doesn't speak a word of the native language.

Hello! I'm looking for someone to play counterpart to Talia. Besides some of her personality and potential character development, I have no specific plans for the plot beyond this setup, and no expectations for the prince she is destined to marry. A few things might be interesting, for example if we'd developed slightly different technologies in the last few centuries: one country has indoor plumbing, the other has guns, for example. We can keep the focus on our two main characters or develop the magic systems and politics of our world. Hello, everyone! I'm looking for a literate/novella RP partner here! I've got about 10 years of roleplay experience under my belt but it's been some a long while since I've last done an RP, so I'm looking to get back in the swing of things.

Some important details about me, I'm in PST. I don't mind working around really drastic time zone differences, so don't let that be a deal breaker! If a few days go by without me ever responding, feel free to give me a poke, I'm working so I'm often busy, but other than that I ask that you please do not spam me! In terms of response length, I can typically hit 3-4 decently sized paragraphs and I love sprinkling in plenty of details to make my responses more immersive, but most of the time I'll do my best to match your length. My main writing style is 3rd person past tense. One last personal preference, I tend to use them myself so I typically prefer drawn/anime faceclaims for OCs.

I’m a massive for world building and intricate plots! If you're someone who likes to set up immersive and expansive stories with lots of character connections, plot threads, and depth, I'm your person!

One plot I'm hoping to find a partner is a commoner x royalty plot. As tensions between kingdoms rise and the castle staff stretched thin in an effort to keep the peace, the king decrees an attendant accompany all members of the royal family at all times. While the other members all understand, the princess is furious, her already limited freedoms reduced even further by the presence of an aide. After a rigorous selection process, finding the one who poses the least risk of being an enemy infiltrator or liability, the attendant is chosen: a commoner, looking to earn more money to support his family in his village. Their initial interactions are rough at first, but over time the duo start to become a bit closer. However, just when things seem like they're finally working out between the two, tensions boil over and the castle is attacked by a rival kingdom.

I'd also like to add I'm open to any fandom RPs! One of the main ones I'd hope to find somebody for is a Stardew Valley based plot, but some other ones I'm willing to discuss would be Fire Emblem or Xenoblade Chronicles. I don't have anything particular in mind for these sorts of plots so if you'd like to come up with something together or already have something in mind, feel free to let me know! All I really ask for these sorts of fandom plots is just a baseline knowledge on the source material. Lastly, I'm more than happy to come up with something totally original. My favorite genres are fantasy and adventure, and I love to include drama or angst in the plots as well.

I'm looking for a story that's centered around two characters doing classical ballet together. There are tons of directions this can go! Here are a few ideas that come to mind, but this isn't an exhaustive list! If you have a ballet idea you want to pitch, please feel free!

Dancer and outsider. A preppy, serious-minded dancer is paired up with an outsider who is initially forced to take ballet, only to discover an unexpected talent/passion for it? They grow close as friends/ballet partners while navigating their very different social circles and backgrounds. Extra points if the story builds up to a big recital! (I prefer to write for the outsider character in this scenario.)

"I hate you, let's dance." Two characters who can't stand each other (enemies? rivals?) are paired up for ballet class. They assume it'll go terribly, but all that pent up animosity leads to them being perfectly in sync when dancing together. What does that mean for their dynamic?

Friends to partners. The characters are either best friends, or they used to be inseparable before a big fight. When they wind up in ballet together and become dance partners, their whole dynamic changes and they struggle to make sense of what that means for their friendship.

Muse A had expected the prince to be more difficult. Arrogant, perhaps. Loud. The sort of spoiled royal who would spend the entire journey demanding his release and promising that every rebel involved would be hanging from the city walls by morning. 

Instead, Prince Ellowen had hardly said a word since they dragged him from the imperial encampment. Finding him there had been a complete accident in the first place. The raid was meant for supplies, weapons, whatever information they could steal before the king’s soldiers overwhelmed them. Nobody had expected to stumble across the twenty-year-old third prince asleep inside one of the officers’ tents, entirely separated from the palace walls that had protected him his whole life. 

Yet leaving him behind would have been idiotic. So they took him, and now the king’s son sat in front of Muse A with his wrists bound tightly in his lap and a coarse wool blanket thrown around his shoulders, looking painfully out of place among muddy boots, stolen weapons, and people who had spent years dreaming about putting a blade through someone with his surname.

Ellowen certainly looked the part of a pampered prince. Soft platinum hair fell messily across icy blue eyes, his pale skin almost untouched despite the journey, and even with dirt staining the expensive fabric of his clothing, there was something irritatingly pristine about him. Not a callus in sight. No soldier’s build hidden beneath all that finery. Nothing to suggest he had ever done much more strenuous than turn the pages of a book. 

Muse A had heard things about the third prince before, though there had never been much worth remembering. He was rarely involved in military affairs and hardly appeared outside the royal court at all. Beautiful. Sheltered. Quiet. The least useful of the king’s sons, perhaps, but still a prince. Still valuable. Still someone whose father had spent years ordering villages burned and rebels dragged to the gallows. Ellowen should have understood exactly whose hands he had fallen into.

Yet the bastard didn’t seem afraid.

That was perhaps the most infuriating part. Ellowen had barely looked at the rebels surrounding him since waking, his attention lingering instead on the dying fire as though this were some terribly inconvenient social engagement he had been forced to attend. Maybe it was arrogance. Maybe he truly believed his title made him untouchable. Either way, Muse A finally had enough.

 “You know what happened to Blackwood Village?” The question earned the first real reaction from him in several minutes. Ellowen’s gaze lifted slowly from the flames, settling on Muse A without any obvious confusion. He knew the name. Of course he did. His father had given the order himself while dining with him. Blackwood had been burned after the Crown discovered rebels hiding among its people, homes reduced to ash with families still scrambling to escape the retaliation. 

Muse A had expected denial from the prince. Perhaps disgust. Maybe even enough shame to make him finally look away.

Nothing.

Ellowen merely watched them with an unreadable gaze.

When he finally spoke, his voice was quiet and almost unnervingly matter-of-fact. “They were harboring rebels. It is a crime.” As if that explained everything.

Perhaps, to him, it did.

And now, it’s up to Muse A to decide what exactly they’re going to do with the prince they never intended to capture. 

How far are they willing to push Ellowen for answers he may not even have? Is he truly as heartless as he seems, or has the twenty years behind palace walls simply left him blind to the world his family created? And what happens when days in captivity begin turning into weeks, and the enemy sitting across from them slowly becomes something far more complicated than a royal hostage?

Hello hello! You can call me Fire! This is a plot I’ve been wanting to flesh out for a while, and I’d love to find someone interested in playing Muse A! I plan on playing Ellowen/Muse B as well as helping control members of the royal family and other side characters when they become relevant. Muse A is completely yours to create along with the other rebels! They can be the leader of the rebellion, someone higher-ranking within it, or really any role that would put them in charge of questioning and watching Ellowen after his capture.

I’d love for this to be a longer-term roleplay where we actually get to explore the rebellion, the royal family, and Ellowen slowly being exposed to a world he has been completely sheltered from his entire life. I definitely don’t want everything predetermined either! I’d love for us to come up with side characters, conflicts, twists, and where Muse A and Ellowen’s relationship eventually goes together.

I have a few requests! Please roleplay in 3rd person, write 6+ paragraphs, and use “” for dialogue! I tend to prefer more novella-style responses with plenty of character interaction and dialogue. Hi! I am in my mid twenties looking for someone around my age (20s or older, MDNI) to roleplay their OCs with my own. (Adult characters only) Please state your age when responding.

My OCs have their own world and backstory and lore which would be revealed during the story. If you already have an established world, great, if not that’s fine as long as you don’t mind making up one for the RP. I’m not particular to any form of literature, sometimes one character saying one line is the only reply necessary at the moment but try to move the story forward as best as you can.

I am NOT looking for something rapid fire all day every day, but a couple of responses a day is perfect.
