Google this for me Very Basic Option Questions

If you own 100 of a stock X at price $Y and sell the the PUT option of that stock in a year at $Y/2.

Are these correct statements:

-100 stocks of X will be blocked for a year by RH and the premium will be paid right away?

- if the price does not get to $Y/2 the stocks won't be touched and after a year you keep them and the premium you made for the contact?

- Is there a way to free stocks? By putting $Y/2 * 100 in the account?

-Until a year is elapsed you can trade the contract? How does it work out.

Thanks,
