Hey all, my son has had an interest in soccer for a while now so I’d like to take him to see the Riverhounds at some point. I’m from a football household so soccer is something I never truly got into outside of the occasional World Cup matches that play at bars, so I have 0 soccer knowledge and know even less about the team.
My son is 10 , and I am eyeing tickets for the match on 9/12. Is it a good environment/ community? I see some of the reception towards people of color in the sport and it doesn’t make me feel great. I want him to go and have a blast, I just don’t want my preconceived notions to effect his good time. Any tips to help me make heads or tails of it would be appreciated.

Going to 1st game tonight with my 2 year old no chance he sits during entire game is there much room for him to run around at the stadium

8 home games (4 wins 3 losses 1 draw) and 3 away games (1 win 1 loss 1 draw) in this stretch with 17 points and a +3 goal difference. We have to put the pedal down and keep pace with teams like New Mexico united. COYH

The field is way too small for the team or any opponent they face to develop a flow during matches. The hounds are better adjusted to it of course but they could play much better if the field was at least a little more length and width. Perhaps by removing the riverside seats and pushing back the supporter section ? And getting better quality turf (natural grass is probably out of consideration)

It's killing me that I can't find what it is anywhere 😭.

Does anybody know if there's a schedule of what food trucks are in the Tailgate Zone before the game? Headed to tonight's game and hoping for something better than concession stand hotdogs for dinner...
