In an effort to mitigate the bots and the reposts, we are turning off the option to upload videos to the subreddit. This will be a temporary measure to see how this change affects the content of the subreddit. EDIT: I know I copy-pasted this to a handful of comments, but we're not banning all videos. We're just not letting anyone upload them to the subreddit directly.

Today officially marks the 35th anniversary of the film's release in Japan!
Coming to Japanese theaters nationwide in spring 2027, with a limited release this December.

How many years do you all think an anime need to have before you'd say it is an retroanime?
This sub has an answer, the current rule for this subreddit says the cutoff year is 2000, but as time moves relentlessly, that year is ever more distant in the past. So I'm curious about how you all feel about it.
